Actually i also cant sleep. I spent hours in bed turning from side to side just to feel sleepy. Some said you can listen to soothing music and cold temperature room can also aid because it can make you relax. It might help a bit but still can't sleep well that's i am taking natural food supplements that energizes me even i didn't complete the 8 hours sleep. My supplements really helps me on my activity daily living.

well, try to do something really tiring and I am pretty sure that you will get tired soon and will fall asleep

well, you are in very interesting situation then, because ifyou are reallytired and still can't fall asleep, then I guess that you should have to visit your doctor and ask him for some help!

You look like you're in a computer shop. Anyway, why don't you read books before you sleep? It sure is effective for me. In fact it makes me sleep even when I don't want to. Also, you can drink hot milk, take a warm bath, and listen to soft music to soothe you. Avoid taking sweet and caffeinated drinks as it obviously would prevent you from sleeping. Another tip: do not use the bed for other purposes like watching TV. It kinda tells your body that the bed is for sleeping and resting. Good luck!

man i was having the same problem before because i am working with my project. that is very tiring were it would take me until 3 am to finish.. until such time when the days of our project is finish i cannot sleep anymore like you.. i tried several stuffs like milk or music.. but i can't shut my brain.. so i look at the internet and they said i just have to rub my stomach before i go to sleep. i know its so silly.. but i just remembered that is what our moms do when we sleep in our childhood.. out of curiosity i tried it.. now my sleeping cycle is back.. just try it man.. =)

yeah you are the same with my aunt.. .. since i am living with my aunt instead of having a boarding hauz, before, my aunt used to stir a glass of milk for me blended with honey and i can say it is effective but now she ran out stock for it... i dont like the taste if they are blended because it is quite sour.. but i love drinking the honey alone or the milk alone,..

My goodness. You should relax a bit. Take a rest. Lack of sleep means more problem in sleeping habits and its very bad for our health. Try to sleep early or drink hot choco or hot milk. I will do a trick.

hi, my father had also the same problem so i brought him to a doctor and after the consultations of the doctor he took some medicines and now he is free. u should consult with a psychiatric doctor. again. after lying on bed, if u think that this night will be same as yesterday and i cant sleep as yesterday, then u cant. just concentrate your minds towards a healthy sleep. its totally a psychological problem. if u would be near me, then i am damn sure that i could cure u. just wash your body before sleep, mainly the feet and face. then go to bed and lay down and keep your face towards roof. keep your both hands on the back side of your head and concentrate your mind towards the point of your nose for a while. i think it is enough for you. if it does not work then just inform me. i have some good advices again. have a nice day.

thanks for the advice but i dont like to take medicines just to sleep.. i have read in a book, health and home and a book of ellen g. white, that there are more side effects in taking sleeping peels than the good effects.. i will just opt for the natural way... yeah,i have to wash my body so that i will fell fresh before sleeping.. you know what i am glad this afternoon because i was able to sleep 5 hours.. thanks god.. hope your father is okay now... . godbless you and your father..

It seems to me that you're internal body clock has been turned upside down. You're basically nocturnal now. If you want to return to sleeping at night and working in the morning , just don't stay up all night the next day and don't sleep during the day. Sleep for a good 7hrs and if you're drinking coffee , etc to stay awake: stop. Make sure the room you're sleeping is dark and comfortable. Also do some light reading for 10mins to prepare for some sleep. I hope this helped.
