How long would you say was the time to say you're not a newbie anymore?

I think it is going to take me ages to get my head around all thing myLot!!
There is so much to take in; I keep reading the FAQ's and rules, posting the odd question(which I am trying to avoid because I know I should be able to find the answers myself), reading other peoples discussions and getting some really good help and info from older members of the site.
I thinlkI'm going to be a newbie for a long time yet!!

I think you can only be a newbie for one day here. The site is pretty simple. You post, and you earn. There are people who have been here a long time who don't understand the FAQ's and guidelines, because the admin use loose interpretations of them, making it confusing as to what is really allowed, and not. So I'm going to say just one day to be a newb.

Hey oldchem you have to let others see that you have understood things and are no longer to be considered as a new user.
While you keep posting short comments that will not further the topic it will still show like the red nose on Santa's reindeer It's all up to YOU!

I think you are a pro already. Much better than some of the people who are here a lot longer than you.
I am slightly older than you, I believe. You are much more advanced than I am. I don't think you are a newbie anymore whereas I still am. That is all because you have taken the time out to read the FAQs and rules, while I just skimmed through to whatever I was looking for at that time.

Hello, Sue. I just came across this one - must have missed it while I was in the UK, with poor internet access. I take it you've now answered your own question - you're certainly no longer a newbie, and here's why.
You put up interesting, amusing or meaty discussions, and you manage them properly and comment on them to keep the discussion open. You're also comfortable with dropping into other response boxes to make a point - once you have the confidence to do that, it shows you're at home here. And you offer good advice to genuine newbies who want to become part of the MyLot experience, as opposed to the serial discussion starters who are just here for the money. Welcome to the ranks of the established MyLotters!

That is a tough question. I mean, I have been here for almost six months or so, but there are still new quirks about the web site that I have not really ironed out. I have a good enough idea of enough not to make a complete disgrace out of myself when using this website. At the same time, I do not really feel all that confident in declaring myself to be one who knows the website and can be an expert.
I would have to say I am about halfway there. I am not a newbie off of the street, but I guess I could be considered a newbie of sorts for someone who has been here for months more or years more. Of course the only way to gain experience is time and patience. It will all pay off in the end. One day, you may be the one who the newcomers turn to. When that happens, I have no idea but it is bound to happen.

Hy Mr. your profile tells that you have made only 80 posts . Anyways coming to the topic , I consider that1 month of regular activity would be enough . The post counts does not matter as long as he is reading here in mylot . You can consider me as newbie because I joined here before only 2 weeks . I must say that I enjoyed a lot in these two weeks . As far as the uncle above as concerned , uncle please stop lying that u have made 1000 posts !

if you already know the in's and out of mylot and if you think you can give advise to those new members out there and if you think that you know what your doing here then maybe you can tell that your no longer a newbie. your still a newbie if after few months you will still ask of when mylot will going to pay you, if mylot is legit, if you keep on posting referrals link in your post knowing its not allowed here, if you keep on asking why you still did not receive your payout, why its still not updated and a lots of why then it mean your still a newbie coz you still dont know those things even though youve been here for many months and already reached more than a thousand post. being a member for many months nor year is not enough if your not that active in mylot.
i saw one member here who already reached her payout then all of a sudden she ask question why she still did not received her payout from last month, my answer is, shes been here for few months and already reached her payout yet she still did not know when did a member get their payout here, so irritating to hear those questions really, its not that they are newbies but for the fact that they already reached payout and so irritating that they dont read tos before going too far, as what if mylot dont pay them and they just post and post till they reached their earnings and once they reached their earnings thats the only time they will be aware about it, what if they will check everything first about mylot and once they found out then thats the only time they will start posting so they not ask question like that as it makes them stupid. being newbies is not an excuse if they dont know when is the payout its just like they dont know what are they doing here thats why.
