How often do you feel like not quite doing anything but just chilling?

It seems as though my online activities have slopped down in a vertical line. No AC, no mimpidreams, my networking site (still considering the NING pricing of 19.95$ a month), not much of micro tasking, right now I have all the time on earth. If only I had the motivation to do something really good. I still have other sites to write, a lot of catching up in the office and yes myLot has been there always but feeling kind of down. It's going to take a while before I could actually settle myself to the sudden changes in life. Wish me luck and happy mylotting. Trust me, this place gonna get you going no matter what like it does with me every time . Have you ever felt like lazing around, not quite liking to do stuffs even when you have a lot of catching up to do?

Hello Mimpi! You see our mood swings up and down and when we are not in a good mood and in your words, when no motivation is visible on the horizon, our on-line activities slow down. You must continue to run MD, because you are the flag bearer, MD and CEO of MD and it is always fun participating in discussions on MD. Please do not get upset, as and when you get time and your mood is good, you can write on any site. I know you are capable of producing anything anytime, (I mean something creative) the moment you decide to indulge in it with some determination. As far as I am concerned, if I am unwell physically and mentally and am under medication then I do not feel like working on any site. However, if it is a normal day and I can spare time, I do catch up with activities on mylot and on AC. I think that I should not waste my time gossiping unnecessarily or watching TV programmes (which are more or less identical). I love to do something creative, be it 'writing' or 'reading'. Please cheer up you would be fine soon. Have a great day! Deepak PS - Hope you are checking your mails.

I don’t allow myself the time to just chill out and do nothing because there is always so much to do! Sometimes when the motivation is not as high, I find writing anything quite difficult and the best thing to do is get away from the computer and do something else for a while. When I feel tired I’m pretty useless; I have been known to fall asleep on my keyboard! It will pass; times like that always do...

I wish, I could be like you! When I do not feel right, I just cannot give my 100% and that leaves me with a hollow feeling. I do a lot of air (thinking) task in those times. Keep working Paula and do relax in between. Love yaa.

I suppose when you have a string of things happening unexpectedly , it does get you in ways down and in a frame of mind with a lot of questions and wondering what to do next. At the same time the chilling will help out Mimpi. It will help you gather your thoughts and concentrate them on new endeavours or getting around doing the other ones with a new vigor. I get through that frame of mind sometimes and the motivation i try and find by setting a target in whatever i do and then try getting there. Doing things mentally challenging themselves are motivating i feel. So get going Mimpi and all the very best, Mylot has always been a place to get the online activities and interation going.

Thanks Alok. Yes, I am doing a lot of air task these days, pondering over the howtos. Just reshuffling and redoing my online schedule. Lazing around is good sometimes and it would be constructive this time.

A lot of power failures lead to NO AC Is it so? Probably mimpi is recouping energy and stamina for more greater things..and so the passive phase she is undergoing now.. As of me,.. the only online earning is my trading only.. and nearly for the past two years i have spent a lot of time in learning about market than earning in it.. so virtually my online earnings is also nil.. Great persons don't talk/write too much, and yet the come out Master pieces at right times.. Take care Saivenkat.

Shut up, will you! Ac has shut its door for no US citizens which means we won't get payment from there. But, good thing, we can still write unlike as in Helium. Also, Ning has phased out of free service and the pricing is bit high. So, right now, I am on a deciding phase. Wish me luck Venkat. And I wish you luck on your trading thing. You are enormously knowledgeable, I know.

I don't feel like lazing around very often, but today it is so nice a quiet I think I will take a nap later on. I have been burning the candle at both ends for a bit too long and do need to "chill" metaphorically speaking. It was cool enough outside that I had to turn the heater on this morning. Yuck!

Dear Mimpi, This is a very common feeling. To me this happens almost every day... In the morning I am very energetic and work with full speed and interest and cover up lot of my work.....but as afternoon hours start, my energy gets low and by 4 pm ,I am fully down, then I don't even want to think about the work that I did in the morning.....I want something completely different....and most of the time I just keep playing some card games...lol. Don't think that we are wasting time, just sitting back and chilling is refreshing our brain and preparing us for the next days hectic work.........Nice discussion and enjoy as much as you can........

Good for you! I think we have our strategies of living well and yours is just like my mom. she would just work like anything in the morning and afternoon but post lunch she would just relax. Yeah - that's the way you recharge yourself for the next day. Be fine and lots of love DD. BTW, what card games you play?

I feel like that everyday since I got pregnant and I have many things to do today but don't feel like it. I need to catch up on my rest from this weekend. We did nothing but run around and I had trouble sleeping. In between cleaning I might have to take a nap.

Hey there, my friend. Wow - this discussion is so "me" today. The crazy thing is, even though I feel like doing absolutely nothing, I've actually gotten quite a bit done today. I don't know if they're all good things that I've completed, but for not wanting to do a thing, I sure have done a lot! Sundays I feel like are my "lazy days," and I think everyone is entitled to at least one of these days per week! What do you think? If we don't have that one day to relax each week, it's been proved that we don't function as well during the week. Interesting! So, go ahead and be lazy. Still without A/C, huh? You poor thing! I wish it were warmer here, but it's been a little chilly. Would you like to trade weather? Sure wish I could send some your way because I absolutely would! Normally when I want to be lazy, the first thing I want to do is sit and watch TV or a movie. Then I'll probably eat my meal while doing so. The hardest part is getting back up if I need to get other things done. I just don't have the motivation to do any of that today. I hate that Monday is coming up because I know I will have wished I got more done today, but it's just been a crazy weekend, so I think I'm entitled to a break before another crazy week begins! Happy resting, my friend.

Thanks JJ. Yes Sundays, post lunch, are my absolute resting hours. I do all my work - from chores to washing clothes and then a nice long shower - through the morning and afternoon and after that I just relax and relax more. watching a nice movie certainly makes my day too and sometime I watch good movies early in the morning. On week days I hardly get any time to relax just like you. And yes I wana trade weather. Send me some sprinkles of your icy wind and I would return the favor, a skyful of bring sun!

I would definitely take you up on your offer today! It's been cold and rainy for the last week here. I'm sick of it! LOL However, in a couple days, it's going to be spring weather. I'm so excited. I've hated hearing the heat turn on in May. My brain tells me it's officially spring, but looking outside makes me depressed. Oh well...I guess sometimes we always want what we can't or don't have. My spirits are high, though. This-coming Saturday will be a great day for garage sales up north. That's the plan, anyway. I certainly hope this awful weather doesn't decide to stick around. Sunny and 70s is what they tell us for the weekend. Nice weather, please come visit us! (LOL) Thanks for your kind comment. Nice hearing from you, as always!

I too had faced this situation in my life.No mylotting,no micro tasking and no social networking websites.I had faced something terrible in my life and i just cut myself and snapped all ties with outside world. But time is a great healer.Slowly and steadily i came in terms with reality and here i am again chatting with a very good friend who has supported me through thick and thin.

Are you considering the Ning price of $19.95 per month? That is pretty expensive. I am going for the $19.95 per year option as that makes the site still really cheap as far as photo and video hosting goes. There is still enough options with that cheaper pricing to do what I want with my site. Occasionally I feel like just doing nothing. this is when I know I am tired and my body needs a rest. Most of the time I am always on the go, doing something productive or just for fun, but I hardly ever just do nothing. But sometimes the body just says, "Hey there Mr. take a break will you!"

Hi Raw. I couldn't keep up with the Ning pricing so have decided to phase out of it. 19.95 is too high and with the MINI thing the quintessentiality of my website will be lost. So, after long and with heavy heart I have finally shifted to another free network with webs. Hope you are doing good with your site.

I am going with the mini option as it is only a website for my archery club that I belong to and the membership is not huge. I just added a Cafe Press store to the site as the added that application to Ning now. I could not be bothered changing everything over at this point so I will stick with it. I t is not my money either, it is the club that will be paying for it and the club can easily afford it.

I think that taking a break and chill out is a great strategy to refresh the head, look is kind of difficult with all the ongoing day task we all have so is better to just move away from time to time, as a recommendation you should try some physical activity as a sport or so on in order to "purify the mind" for a while

I work until midnight so when I get home I feel totally zapped. By the time that I shower and grab a bite to eat it's close to two a.m. I feel like a bit wasteful of time by sleeping 8 full hours these days and usually spend the earlier part of the day before work doing things around the home. On my day off I long to do nothing but rarely have the chance. I want to laze around but always feel a bit guilty about it if I actually do it.

That's long hours and your laziness understandable. Certainly you need 8 hours of sleep that is what gets you going the next day. Even I feel guilty at times when I overdo it but then try to recompose myself and start to do something or the other. I have noticed that I tend to get lazier if I do not draw the line

I would like to get on some writing sites plus mylot and my survey.com. right now I spend most of my time on mylot writing responses to people and making comments to the responses on my own discussions. and do some mysurvey.com when ever I am offered a survery. only need five more points to cash out at ten dollars.

Hi mimpi! Ive almost always felt that way.LOL Im the lazy type up until the date of the deadline is looming, then I become a working machine.^_^ I dont stop until all my work is done just before the deadline and upon submission, Id go back to lazing around again. Im not very active in Ning as you might have noticed. Im just not a fond of it but I do like getting updates about you and your network through the notifications. I just wanted you to know that I just signed up to your Webs MimpiDreams and it says my submission is pending approval. I do like the site and it the total look makes me want to explore every bit of the site. Keep up the great work and always keep us posted.
