Hey Mylotters, was just wondering- for how long can a person go out using his/her cellphone?? Cellphones have become such an integral part of our lives that you can't imagine life without one. It makes you feel handicapped!! When I was in college, we weren't supposed to carry phones and they were banned on campus. Being the rebel that I am, though I stayed on campus, I would not leave my phone in my room. So one day they came around checking and MY PHONE WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM ME FOR 6WHOLE DAYS!!!!!! Back then my phone meant everything to me as I was away from home and had no other way to entertain myself in the college hostel. I got it back only after my dad sent a fax to the college saying that I wouldn't use it on the premises!!! Sucks I know!!! Let me know your opinion- do you feel incomplete and lost without your phones? Or can you manage without them??

Hiiii... What a topic!! I can't live without my phone... Before a few months my new multimedia phone broke down and I had no phone for 3 days... I felt as if I was going to die without phone. The habit of playing games on my phone, or sending sms to my friends has become almost an addiction... Can't go on without my phone...

Which tells you to always keep a backup phone, a basic model so when your 3G phone goes for a toss you have a stand by available till you get your phone repaired or buy another cell.

when i was in college, mobile phones was still a luxury and it didn't really matter to me if i had it with me or not...however since i started working, i cannot do away with my cellphone even for just an hour..i bring it with me anywhere i go, even to the bathroom!once, when i attended a seminar out of town, i woke up and the first thing i did was to pick up my cellphone but it was nowhere to be found! i frantically searched for it, even turned the bed covers and bed but i didn't find it. i felt so depressed then that it seems my whole world tumbled down upon me..i know i was overly dramatic but i really felt that way back then...after about an hour, a colleague found it neatly tucked between the folds of my bed cover..that's why i was not able to find it..i certainly can't manage without my phone even for just an hour (except when im asleep perhaps) much less a day!

I have had my very first mobile phone when I was 12 years old. It was birthday and graduation gift from my family and relatives. Since then, I can't leave the house without my mobile phone. it is one of the things i can't live without... i have been using it to connect with my family, relatives and friends. i like upgrading mobile phones every now and then. i have tried utilizing different mobile phone brands such as motorola, nokia, samsung, sony ericsson and apple iphone. i am currently using apple iphone 2g, ruby red nokia e63 and samsung. :)

Well, I don't have any phone any more except for my cellular phone. That out of the way, I don't think that I would be able to go without my phone for more than about 12 hours. I use it several times a day and it is really something that is permanently affixed to me as a part of my being. I suppose that I wouldn't be nearly as attached to my cell phone if I hadn't been carrying one since I was seventeen years old.

Mine lives in my car...I don't use it...sometimes I go without using it for a whole month! Now my teenage daughter couldn't live without hers She's a texting diva... I'd say if it is your connnection to the world-then it's vital..mine is just a voice phone..I don't do anything else..and it's mainly only for emergencies.

My sis has a droid..it's mucho expensive-like $100 a month-but she was showing me all the awesome things it does..like a song on the radio you don't know the name, hold the phone up and it'll tell you and you can download it! I think if I had something this awesome-I could get addicted for sure!!!

I always take my phone with me, when I leave the house, no matter what day of the week it is, however, on the weekends, I don't have it on all day, as I don't need it. I do need it on during the week though, as that is when everyone does their business, so I do need it in case my kids need to get a hold of me. I don't leave it on all night though, as I shut it off, so I can get a good night's sleep, as I have a hard enough time sleeping, without getting interrupted at night. Since I don't have a home phone, my cell phone is very important to me.Take care, and happy mylotting.

Cell phone is very important for me. I stay far away from my parents. But i don't like to use cell phone sometime. I only use this for my parents. Moreover i also use internet for communication. So i think i can stay long time without cell phone. It could be 1 months.

Cellphone is very important to us. Most especially in work. Since I am connected in transportation sector it is very important to me. In every single hour in my work it is very much needed. During my school days it was okay for me without a cellphone. But now it is not.

Seriously, i can't live without my cellphones. My cellphones is live one part of my body. There is one time i didn't bring my cellphones when i am away from home. I really feel not comfortable. Feel like i am "disconnected" from the world. I will also feel not comfortable when my cellphone is out of battery.
