my closest friends are my high school friends. i love spending time with them, hanging out even when we're doing nothing. how about you, do you still spend time with your high school friends?

As much as I would like to do just that, we can't do it as often. We have become too busy with the things that we all have to do now. It was easy to do during high school because we can easily do that after school or just go to a class mate's house and there hangout and do a bunch of things that we could do. Now a days, its hard to even see if everyone is available. Most of them would be working, not at home, doing something important that needs their full attention or perhaps, just don't want to go out because they just had a tiring week from their work. (^_^")

And if you really want everyone to be attending a particular event, it seems more possible to have a lot of them present if the event is something spontaneous like a few days a way and not something like months before since, a lot of them would just have excuses not to attend half-way or even on the day itself.

yeah, it's really hard to schedule a get to together when you're all grown ups. there are just a lot of responsibilities that you have to do first. sometimes, to be with friends you have to sacrifice something.

My best friends are my high school friends, the same as you~ The relationship in high school exits forever.Even though we can only meet every half year ,but the friendship between us will never change!

wow, that's good that you can stay very close even if you only meet every half a year.

For me, nothing can compare to my highschool friends even though we don't have the time to get together that often. We still see each other on our free time and sometimes we go to one of our friend's house just to eat and chat what are the news in our life :D I remember back in highschool that we do nothing but to sit and do nothing. It is not like we hate each other but we are just happy being with our friends and all that time. If only we could turn back those times without worrying in our future lives LOL :D

that's the same problem that my friends and i always have. scheduling. especially with the nature of our jobs. yeah, back in high school, we also sit around and do nothing. go to one of our houses and just chill out. sometimes that's what we still do and during times like those, we can't help but feel like we're back in those days. until we all have to go back to reality :)

Yup, some of them though. I still hand out with my bestfriend in 4th year highschool, we are still very close friends. She actually lived with me when I my whole family went to the States. While my other group of friends, dont hang out with me anymore, they have changed a lot. But when we meet in the street or at school, we just say "hi", but the intimacy is not there anymore.

yeah, just the quick "hellos". that's what i do when i see high school acquaintances. that's cool living together with your friend. i think i would love to do that too if i have a chance. i remember when we were in high school, my friends and i went to my auntie's house and we were by ourselves, we were thinking how nice it would be to have our own house :)

I do communicate with my high school friends over the internet and if we have some time, we do have “mini-reunions” which is a great way to solidify your friendship. It’s in a way getting information and be updated to what they are doing with their lives. It’s also a great way to venture yourself with some information that might be helpful for you and your friend in the future.
