Since always chess has been one of my favorite board games. When I was a kid me and my brother could spend the whole afternoon playing and then play some more at night when my dad came from home. At high school I was a pretty good player and was ranked #1 at school. After that over time I stoped playing.
Today I've been playing glChess, wich is a Chess game that comes with Gnome (a linux desktop for those who don't know) and I'm now realizing that now I really suck at chess! I'm playing against the CPU with a normal level of difficulty and I just can't win a match! And not just that, the CPU is winning too easily. I used to be good but now...
Now I guess it's time to close glChess and get back to work!

Well... after this morning I began thinking maybe I wasn't good either, maybe no one at my school knew how to play and that made me the best!
No, I was good, I must convince myself I was good and also that I'm going to be good again! What I need to do is to play a little more. Maybe playing Chess should be a part of my day, just like reading a book or something like that.

I love chess. I never play with the computer. Its programmed to win always. I have tried playing chess which is available with ubuntu OS. Now I am teaching my 7 yr old daughter. She is picking up. Play chess only with a human partner.
