I got a money reward from mylot, is this a regular thing here?

While searching for a discussion in the search box a pop-up note just appeared in my screen that says:
"CONGRATULATIONS! You have just earned a Mylot reward! This reward is worth 6 cents."
Is this a regular random thing in Mylot? Do they have other promos or earning feature that I'm not aware of? I know 6 cents is not that much but I'm still happy for winning it.
I have not yet fully explored this website and does not know much in maximizing my time here. I appreciate if anyone would share anything else about mylot. Thanks!

Congratulations! I have been doing Mylot for years but I haven't experienced anything like that. Well, I think it's a great idea anyway because it will inspire more Mylotters to be more active and it will also be a great opportunity to earn more.

Thanks, after posting this topic, I've found out there are others that won too a week ago (3 cents). I just wish I knew what I did to earn this reward so I can do it again to earn more reward (^_^). Others have no idea either.

Thanks, so I guess you've already won too? Funny thing is, I was searching in mylot so as not to duplicate topics, but after I won, I hastily post a discussion that have similar topics with other posters, without checking first(^_^).

I have heard of rewards for searching.... I'm not 100% sure but I think I read it goes in two's. .02, .04, .06, .08. But I have yet to hear more than .08 cents at one time. I haven't gotten one yet, but congradulations to you and everyone that wins that way. Happy MyLotting!

Now it's 100% verified.. Try using mylot search too for additional earnings. BTW I don't think it's in two's, I read a post about a 3 cents reward. I'm just wondering what's the highest reward for this. ^_^

Hi again pals101, just an update, ever since I started using the mylot search box frequently, I regularly received rewards mostly 10, 14 & 15 cents and this is almost everyday! So it's a week late but Good Luck!
Also don't forget to "tag" your comments, it also counts! ^_^

i've known about that feature since it first came out. but there is only a limited amount of times per day to use that feature and actually be able to earn something from it. its not very big rewards from that but its still better than nothing.

Hi Balasri, funny because I've been with mylot for more than two months and was not able to earn even a dollar. But now I'm able to receive at least 10 cents reward per day. I just got 11 cents reward earlier, sweet! ^_^

That has happened to me before too and I was rewarded 4 cents. I was also bewildered at first because I didn't have the slightest idea what I did to get the reward. I was afraid I might do the reverse and be penalized and receive the message "You have been fined 10 cents for your response!" LOL.
Anyway, it's a good incentive for myLotters and I'm glad one of the responders here sent the link to why rewards pop up from time to time.

^_^ yes I also think it's a good incentive even thought it's just cents esp. for people like me who are not so into posting topics. I also learned that you can earn more (I don't know how much though) by uploading photos to your "interests" or adding photo to the discussion you started. I'm going to try this too. Thanks for your response and good luck to us all here at mylot!

They say the more we use mylot search, the more often we get rewarded. I'm always using it now and I'm also uploading photos to my "interests", Let's see what will come out of that. (^_^)
