Women's Revenge

"Cash, check or charge?" I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase. As she fumbled for her wallet I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse. "So, do you always carry your TV remote?" I asked. "No," she replied, " but my husband refused to come shopping with me, and I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him legally."

You all must be young folks. This would not work. This story reminds me of a funny bit I saw on a TV comedy show once. Grandpa and one of his grandkids are watching TV. Jokingly the grandkid takes the remote and tells Grandpa that since he has the remote, he is in charge of the TV. Whereupon Grandpa merely goes over to the TV and starts controling it manually, which all of us old folks used to do before they had remotes. Grandkid looks wide eyed and asks," How'd you do that?".
