It's now official!!
Pacquiao finally nails it this time...
The historic seven-division or five-division world champion, depending on what kind of history you hold. (Well, that's a long story reserved for a different venue, I'll discuss it further in my featured column in Bleacher Report,) won via a lopsided decision against shipping magnate Roy Chongbian.
The Chongbians have ruled Saranggani province for decades.
I was proven wrong. I never imagined that he'll win against Chongbian. I even compared Pacquiao to Don Quixote in one of my articles -- http://bleacherreport.com/articles/378809-boxing-in-particular-manny-pacquiaos-ambitious-climb
LOL!!
I just can't imagine Pacquiao debating with the likes of Digs Dilangalen and Teddy Boy Locsin.

i will not be surprise if he will run for president someday, his been surrounded by politicians long before he made a name for himself..i think he was influenced heavily by those.

He doesn't seem like someone who should go into politics but what choice has he got? He can't remain undefeated.
I respect his decisions really. Most of the greats, after being defeated, lose endorsements, money, and eventually would lose their careers and sources of living. He's just trying to find ways in order not to go back to poverty when the career ends.
It's quite a weird thing that he'd go into politics but I've heard that he's done a lot of good things for General Santos City. How long he could support this? That's for use to find out.

Well I think his long time dream to become a political figure has came true. Maybe this is his slow exit in the boxing arena. I do think that it will take sometime before we could see Pacquiao speaking before the house. I think there will be many that will question his ability but who knows what he can really do except him alone. Let us see what he can deliver at the house.

Yeah when Pacquiao was starting as a boxer no one took notice of him especially when he would lose in a fight no one would took notice of that now that he was able to defeat and conquer the arena he is already considered like a "god" by many. Now it is his turn to enter the world of politics. I hope he survives it with flying colors.

I agree, who knows?
Don't count him out just yet. We might be in for a huge surprise.

he will not debate, his primary purpose i think is to use the pork barrel funds to help his people. although im not underestimating his academic prowess i think he will never manage to author a law by his own, his ring smarts are far different from making him a effective law maker.
*a decade of rule with slow progress and improvement i think made the people succumbs to manny inborn appeal..

Finally, he won I was thinking he will loose again. I am not against him as his intention is pure but I would appreciate it much if he run for Mayor or Governor instead of Congressman, is he knowledgeable more in making laws? He could help more if he becomes Governor or Mayor, I think.

Haha! Whatever Manny. You know? Whatever happens to him in the world of politics, he can never blame anyone because it's his own decision. If he gets embarrassed, sorry for him but he chose it.
