Many people write very beautiful hand writing. By seeing itself you feel to read it. And some people write in a different way, no body can understand their writing. In my school days i remember that i used to get 5 extra marks for my hand writing. Will you share with me about your hand writing and the comments by others !

My handwriting might be the worst handwriting in this planet. Even god take time to read what i write that's why i ignore to write as possible. When i'm in school teacher didn't took my copy to check because they won't recognize the sentence and they compare my handwriting with aliens. I'm thinking about the person who had checked my 10th and 12th answer sheet might he/she had took the help of telescope to see each and every words of it.

Yes, I like to say that I have a good handwriting, especially in cursive form. When I'm in a hurry, I still get to to have a pretty cute and legible handwriting. I can also imitate other people's handwriting. I remember that I used to imitate almost all of my classmates' penmanship, and then I would show it to my friend and we would just laugh.

Hi mjcookie, good that you have a good handwriting. I have seen many have good penmanship. And some people say that if the handwriting is good their future will also be good, but i didn't believe all these. Do you believe? thanks for your response. Have a nice time.

Hello friend!!
Nice to know that you have good hand writing and you saved eyes of your teachers for which they used to reward you five marks extra... Don't you think they were paying you less for saving their eyes... ha ha...
Well, I never have had good writing and my class teacher used to teach us English and was very strict. She told me to use cursive writing book in tenth standard so that I can score good marks as I was among intelligent students but hand writing was so poor... Her formula worked and I improved my hand writing and as a result I scored 80.8 per cent marks in that class... Further, I also saved eyes of other teachers ... ha ha...
I don't think that writing should be awarded with numbers as marks are for knowledge which you have presented. Appreciation for good writing is enough so that one can continue the good writing.
Have a nice time!!
Take care friend!!
Keep teacher's eyes safe!!
Happy myLotting!!

Hi chdsandeep, Nice joke. And it is nice to hear that you are an intelligent student. We also learned cursive writing from the copy writing books. Our English teacher never leave us without writing for atleast 5 minutes each day. For encouraging students she used to award 5 marks extra. I think that is her trick. Thanks for your information. Have a wonderful day.

I too have a good handwriting and a lot of people have appreciated it. They would come to me to write some note on a card, or fill up their forms just because I have a beautiful handwriting. My mom too has the same hand writing which means I had it cos of her. I remember in school days, we used to get extra marks for handwriting. I used to get them just like you.

Hi workworkthomas, it is nice to hear that you have good handwriting and also you got extra marks. People do come to make it write on their cards, envelops, some notes for presenting. Children will imitate their parents. I too learned some of the letters to write artistic way from my father. Thanks for your response. Have a nice day.

Mt handwriting is barely legible. I was involved in a car wreck a dozen years ago and my right hand while gaining most of the function back again was just never the same. But to be honest, writing is a lot less painful then peeling potatoes is for me lol.
Thank god for computers, it is so much easier to type then to struggle with a pen to put words on paper. Probably would be a lot easier if the teachers when I was a child hadn't forbidden my desire to do my handwriting left handed.

Well, I am the opposite of you! I have a very bad writing and its real bad, sometimes, I don't understand what I write, if I'm in a hurry! I tried improving, but couldn't, so now I just write that way and accept it.

I have never had good handwriting. My mother blames it on the fact that I write faster than i think. I think I was just born to sloppy handwriting. Thank goodness for the typewriter and computer age.

when i was still a student, especially when i was on my primary years, i was always called to write a long lesson on the board.. i had nice handwritten once but now i do not know what just had happened... I hate my handwritten and i hate writing now with my hand as well... I tried to get all things well again but now it is all too late to get back what i once had... Is there any way to improve my handwriting again?

Hi nsj947, why you feel ashamed, many are there they will just scribble, i didn't understand their writing. Some of my class mates use to write like that, but they will fair it in notes with good hand writing. If you are able to read your writing then its ok, but only the problem is with who read it. Thanks for your response. Have a jolly day.

I think my handwriting has got messier as I have got older. One of the main reasons is lack of practice! When I was at school, I wrote every day and at weekends, I wrote penpal letters, stories, poems, etc. - all handwritten. These days, most of my writing is done on the computer so my handwriting is 12pt Times New Roman!!!!

I have a good handwriting. My teachers too, didn't have any probs in reading my hand writing... My style of writing is cursive handwriting, slanted towards right side.. coz my mum use to say.. that is the correct to write English....

Hi umabharti, yeah most of my class mates used to do like that, we have a competition who will write a good hand writing and which page was good, what teacher will marks to their cursive writing. Every day we used to compare our comments of our teacher. Thanks for your response. Have a wonderful time.

I don't think I have that beautiful handwriting. What's important is it is still legible. :) It may be because I am used to writing that fast. I was always the secretary in the organizations I was into because they said that I can grasp all that's being discussed. And, as a former field reporter/news writer for radio and as a researcher, I had to write/document things that fast. And with my present job (for 5 years now) I barely write at all. Everything is through the computer. I think all of these have contributed to my writing, in a way?

Hi elvira, if it is legible then okay. Grasping things is not that easy. Only few people will have that capacity. I am happy to hear that you worked as a reporter/ news writer for radio and researcher too. Ho yeah you should need fast writing. Thanks for your response. Have a nice day.

Hey Jotomy, I think I can say that I've got good handwriting. Most artistic people do but that doesn't mean non artists would have bad writing. When I was in school, we had extra marks for good handwriting as well. I used to change my writing alot when I was in school. I really dunno why but now my handwriting has been the same for quite a long time now. What I noticed when I was in school was girls who sat together tended to have the same kinda hand writing. Dunno if anyone else has noticed this.

this is a really nice topic.
actually, my hand writing really sucks, God knows I've been practicing my hand writing since i was in elementary. but, i was not bless with it. sometimes, i tend to hide my writing to my friends, i was so ashamed to show them my writing, but as time goes by, i have learned to accept it.. hehe..
