Vitamins? Do you take them?

Do you really notice a difference when you take vitamins? How do you determine which one is right for you? There are so many out there, but when I read the label, they all seem the same. So how do you choose which one is right?

I think if you eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables you don't really need to take extra vitamins but I do take cod liver oil tablets each day because these are supposed to help with joints

Really? I never heard that one before:) I will metion it to my dad. He has bad joints and he cant afford the prescription the dr gave him. Has it helped you? I mean do you actually notice a difference since you have been taking them?

My husband use to take that, but now he takes One A Day for men. He seems to think it is helping.

If you ensure that you have enough vitamin B and C, you’ll have strong, supple strands of hair that do not split. You can get these vitamins from eating foods like fruit, vegetables, cereals, eggs, milk and bread.

Yes, a biiig difference, but I always use the best quality and avoid all synthetic vitamines. You will find more information in my profile. I used to be very sick earlier - asthma, arthritis, depression, headace and so on. My life is so much better now. Of course our attitude and thoughts and feelings can either improve or make our health worse. I have just seen a very interesting movie about this. It talkes about the power of our thinking. www.thescienceofgettingrich.biz Go ahead and see it while it is still there.

I try to get most of my nutrients from food but like to take a multivitamin as a backup. I only buy vitamin that's all natural made from whole foods. Some vitamins are artificial and aren't absorbed by the body as easily. Sometimes I use an effervescent vitamin powder that you mix with water and drink. It gets absorbed even better because the stomach doesn't have to break down a pill.

Since I was always stressed out, I became a vitamin fanatic. I took Vit A, C, E, B-complex, calcium, iron, and flaxseed oil. You really had to try at least a no. of brands to see how its working for you. One brand of Vit.C may have a positive effect on me but the Vit E none. So I had to look for another one that suited me.

I take a multi, c, and e. Look for the USP TESTED. If not there, they aren't good.
