While I don't have an official diagnoses, I am pretty sure this is what I have been dealing with for the last 30some odd years now.
Social interaction, some learning issues, as well as lots of feeling like I'm from a different realm.
Any other adults here dealing with this without meds? or with meds?
Did you diagnose yourself? or have you been told by others?

I'm in the same boat as you. I haven't gone to get a diagnosis, although I don't know why. I keep telling myself to set an appointment but I never get to it. Maybe some time next week.. Anyway, I think I have asperger's because I have many of the characteristics - not making eye contact, being fixated on certain hobbies, not being able to admit i'm wrong, thinking everyone else is to blame for my problems, etc.
Lately I've been watching youtube videos by people who have asperger's. They really help me understand myself. There's a girl named TheAnMish who has many videos discussing her day to day issues, as well as her responses to people who want to know more about asperger's. In one of her videos she recommended reading books by Tony Attwood.
I think it would help to get diagnosed, but that would only be the beginning.

Yea after a diagnosis there isn't a whole lot of options to help I'm finding. I was told just to read and listen to as many people with Aspergers as I can so I start to see that I am "normal", just in a different way.
Wrong Planet is a forum dedicated to Autism/Aspergers and they are great with questions. Of course many people here also have good advice :)
Keep watching video's, that's about the best help you can get. I might go to counseling to help get rid of bad cognitive thought processes. CBT works pretty well. We all have false beliefs and many we are aware of but we have no power to change it.

Hi friend, so you lived your life with aspergers, hope you don't face any issues with your problem. Luckily i don't have this kind of problems, but my son is affected with autism. Now he is going to special school to cure his problem. Hope he will be normal soon and expecting the day.

I know this is an old post but I'm 30 and my life has always been a mess. I just found out I had Aspergers Dx "autism spectrum/aspergers".
So now I'm stuck. Everything is socially connected so the internet is my only outlet to the social world.
I hope you are still on here, we can get through this together!
