To those of you who were there and supported me regarding my problem: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2314656.aspx
I took the advice of some of you guys and filed a complaint against him! I don't really know if it's gonna work but it's worth a try, right?
Here's where I filed a complaint: http://www.ic3.gov
Does any of you know about that site? Have you experienced filing an online complaint through that website? How did it turn out?
I would really love to hear your feedbacks about this. In my complaint, I tried to be as accurate as possible, but I no longer included the stuff that were irrelevant (such as the heated argument that my ex-boss and I had prior to the "non-payment incident"). I only included those that directly concerned the payment thing.
Do you guys think that this will work? After filing that complaint, I'm now ready to just live life and let it go. Lol. And whatever happens, happens. If something does come out of this move I made, I hope that it's something positive. Wish me luck guys!

Hello my friend.
I guess the site where you filed the complaint is a site against cyber crimes. I guess they investigate about frauds, scam systems, and so on.
About your case I guess is a job lawsuit more than a cyber crime ;)
Anyway best wishes, and let us know if this complaint will have a following. Could be interesting find that this site can solve also this king of disputes ;)

Well, technically, my incident was a cyber crime. There was actually a specific "crime" from the options which involved employment-related fraud, so I guess it could also help, since I don't really know how I'm going to file a lawsuit. Haha. And yes, I will update you guys about it as soon as I receive something from them. :) Thank you so much, pierone!!

Hi Jeeyah,
Good day!
I have experienced filing a complaint online. However, it's just a small complain and I filed it online in out Internal Helpdesk. In our company we have a procedure for filing a complaint for different reasons. I could say that our HR Department is very fair since they really do an investigation even if it involves the higher/ upper Management. We have a lot of Managers and even Site Directors who were asked to do a force resignation rather than be terminated for a more graceful exit after the panel found out that they were really at fault.
Aside from that we also have an Escalation process. Before you file a Complaint to HR you need to escalate the issue first with your direct Supervisor or any Supervisor in our Department. We have about 3 Assistant Managers in the floor. If the Supervisor will not address the issue then you can move in with any of the Assistant Managers. If the complain does not involve the Manager then you can forward the complaint to the Manager if the Assistant Managers will not address the issue.
If everything still did not work we can file a complaint through HR. If HR will not address it then we can Escalate it even to our company's Site Director up to our Assistant Vice President. Most of the time once the complaint has reached the AVP (Assistant Vice- President) then everyone involves who were not able to resolve/ address the issue gets a Read Alert email from the AVP. How did I know? I'm one of the Supervisors in our company. I've mastered our Employee Handbook and so far I find our company and HR Management very good in people Management and protecting the Employees right.
I wish your complaint gets good result. :)

Here in our company we have a Labor Code and as an employee we should all be aware of our rights. I made sure that I'm well educated when it comes to employees rights. Why? It's because as a Supervisor I myself would not want to violate it and as an employee I would not want to be exploited.
I did not take a course that has something to do with Labor Code but I've read the entire manuscript. It's worth reading as you get to know in just a few months if it's worth staying in the company where you are employed at.

Wow, all companies should be like that! It's really nice that the HR treated you fairly and wasn't biased. Thanks for sharing. A lot of companies should really be like your company. It's good thing that you landed a job in that company. :D Thank you again!

jeeyah,
I doubt if your case could be considered anything near criminal about it other than a civil dispute. Calling it a fraud in my opinion is quite weak if you know what I mean.
Anyway, I really wish that you will get your much needed redress in this case with the hope of gaining back your remuneration.
All the best.

jeeyah,
I really wish you the best and all the success here with your case. Your ex boss really is a pain and I would like to see some justice on your side.
Do keep us updated and in the mean time move on, there's much better bosses than this A-hole in the head.
Take care.

Well, if spam is considered an online crime, then I think my case is something worth investigating, don't you think? Since it involves money and employment. He refused to pay me, and yet he also refuses to delete the articles that I wrote. And "employment fraud" was the closest option, and since they specifically instructed to choose the best or closest option, then I chose that, since the other options involved buying and selling.

Good for you for following your heart with what you felt like you needed to do. I don't have any personal experience with the site that you've mentioned. However, I do hope that in the end you are able to get your payment that you rightfully deserve and I hope that because of your complaint that the man that you worked for will not be able to ever rip off anyone else. It is a great feeling when you've done what you feel is the right thing.

I really do hope that they do review and investigate my case. I also recently just submitted my story/complaint to www.report-online-scams.com, and the owner replied to me promptly. But it's a different story and I'll just post another discussion about it, in case things get too complicated. Lol. Thanks so much, Auntiescarf!!

hi jeeyah I do wish you all the luck in the world. am proud of
you for going ahead and filing a complaint against that
jerk so called boss of yours. i hope you win and win big
as that was so unfair of him, and it makes him look like
he just takes advantage then when the work is done he grabs it, then
purposely picks some fights with you hoping you go away and do
not demand the payment you should have gotten,Hope you get the
money that is due you.

Hi, jeeyah. I am glad that you filed a complaint against him. He sounds so mean and nasty. How can he talk to you so hatefully? He is not supposed to behave in this manner. Talk about, so unprofessional! I have never heard of an site called this. But I will surely keep this in mind if I ever run into any serious problems with my boss or webmaster not paying me. I have filed an complaint on American Publisher's Clearinghouse. I went to the website called, www.pissedconsumer.com I think that this was the name of this website.
