Will Noynoy make a good president?

Philippines

The question of who's going to be the next president is practically over and all that is needed is for Noynoy to be sworn in. For those of you who voted or did not vote for him, do you think he will make a good president? Will things change for the better? for the worse? or will the status quo be maintained? I am forever the skepticwhe it comes to chang ing things in our country but I am not giving up hope and he seems to be our best bet. But don't hold your breath though.

I don't know.. will see about that... But think about it, if it weren't for Noynoy. Erap would have been take the lead.

RIGHT! I would rather prefer Noy than Erap.. no offense but he was proven guilty for what he did. Suprisingly, he still have a lot of followers though.

I myself voted for Noynoy Aquino...Because I believe that whatever the tree is...it will bear a fruit same as the tree. Since Noynoy came from a God-fearing family I know he is raised the same way too...A person who fears God will never be tempted to do bad against others. This might be a simple basis but I know God rules the world and no one else can rule the world except for GOD....

Hey bro. It's been quite a while since I've posted here or gave a comment. But your post really intrigued me in so many ways. First because I want to see how many responses you have and if those comments are with content. Second is that how you asked the question... Well let me elaborate. It doesn't matter if he will be a good president or not. I don't think that it's the president's fault that we are a third world country. We did this to ourselves. It's the system not the governance of the leaders. Let me give you an example. In our barangay with less budget can do magic with their allowance from the government what more if you are in higher office. And maybe you are right, Noynoy will be a good President but can his goodness affect each and every Filipino. Will he be not going to place those close people in his cabinet so they can advice him to do this and do that. I don't know if you are following me but your question is so vast that I think I rather say... maybe.

yes, I guess this is too vast I guess the major requiremtns would be sincerity - making decisions because it's good for the country courage - to resist temptations and to face obstacles ability - if not to improve at least to keep things form getting worse! humility - to look into criticisms and shortcomings and to try to improve it and not spend all your time harping on your "achievements" and justifying your actions the actions of the people around him may affect the performance of his administration but we can still see what his actions and decisions are on certain issues especially when he holds the highest office in the land. And if he is a good president change no matter how little it is will happen despite the system

I did not vote for him, but I think the best we could do is just give him a chance since he is already elected, we don't have much choice but to watch what he's doing and if it's beneficial to all, lets support him.

will see, if i would base on his past performance as a politicians i don't think so, but i am willing to give him a chance, and i hope he will not forget what his father told him in the letter..he might draw inspiration to that and eventually will lead us with a good heart.

i did not vote for i no longer believe in the system. but even i did not vote i still watch everything about the presidential candidates and the vice as well. noynoy was not my choice, but since he was the one who won then we all should give him a chance. after all, i am sure he doesnt want people to do another people power wanted him out of office. i want to see if he can do what he promised and give him a chance to make the philippines a better one.

Hello anaknitatay, I did not vote for him either, i never liked him ever since the debates, i used to but i needed some one who is precise on his plans for the country. probably the only platform i can appreciate on noynoy is his Responsible Parenthood program. let's just watch him and see how it goes. am still skeptic though i hope he surprises us some day.

yes. I voted for him, 'coz I believe that God wanted him to be there. events of the past led him to where he is exactly meant to be, and guess what many voted for him.
