The Indian market is enriched with China made mobiles but the big question is are the china mobiles worth buying?
Well, If you ask me i will say YES. I am using a China mobile "SIGMATEL S500" for last 1 year.
It has facilities like dual sim with dual stand by, 2.o MP camera, mp3,mp4 players, motion gaming, FM radio, tourch light, bluetooth, SMS, MMS, Voice mail, Chat and other lots of features. The sound quality is reasonably good though the picture quality is average. But the most important thing is that is has a registered IMEI no. so no fake business. And the price so very low that at this price you only get NOKIA 1100 phone.
I know the quality may be not as good as the Sony Erikson or NOKIA high end phones but the point is that for people who don't have the budget to buy high-end phones can use the high-end phone facilities at very low prices.

Yes, if the mobile was made by formal chinese manufacture, like Levove, CECT, the quality is good. But if it was an imitation of branded mobile phone, the quality is low but very cheap and with many features, we call it "cheep copy mobile".

If you are talking about those made in China mobile phone, well as what I know Nokia, Motorola and other big manufacturer of mobile phone have a manufacturing company based in China, this is due to cheaper labor there. But indeed, those phone works perfectly. But if you are mentioning those mobile phone that are made in China but with a Chinese brand, or an imitation of a branded mobile phone, it is definitely risky to buy. Well most of them are not that durable, although they have the features of those branded mobile phone, but their features are less in qualities. And you are lucky enough if you had bought a durable china phone. Good luck!!!

hi!
i think china phones are fine... it good for communication purposes like calling and sending sms... my dad recently bought one... it has TV, dual sim and camera... but the picture quality is not really good though... the speaker is loud but the quality is low... wifi doesnt work and it doesnt have gprs settings...
i have 2 sony ericson phones right now but im still hoping i can get a china phone just for calls and sms.... :)

I came to know that the radiations from the china phones can harm us.... People are saying that its better to use a headset while on a long call using the same.... Another problem is if you hear musics using china headsets for about , say, 2 hrs...you will feel a disturbance in your ears.... So keep a low volume always while using those kind of sets....
Take care
Happy my lotting...

Ya...right... The quality is reflected by its price..... Moreover they are not offering product warranty unlike other mobile companies.... Comparatively they may have more features than the other mobile phones but buying and using those should be at our own risk,....
happy my lotting

China mobiles are not worth buying because of their technology. They can fail anytime and 99% no repair options. Its why i am using only Sony Ericsson.Best quality, best parts, grater technology.no one can beat it.China mobiles have all technology in 3000 rupees that we can get in 10,000 rupees from other company but all parts can fall anytime. That's the main problem. So from me two thumbs down for china mobiles.

yes,it's to some extent..
I used 2 Chinese handsets before I bought my nokia N79..
The reason I had to abandon Chinese was the IMEI got blocked...
I flashed tried new IMEI I knew it is illegal but I used IMEI from my old mobile..
A few months later it also got blocked I don't know why..
So you should think twice before buying Chinese handsets..
