It depends on a student. Some student need to study 3 hours a day. Some needs more then 10 hours. But when a student study they should concentrate only on study.

at least 2 hours a day would do. he may rest first after school so as to relax the mind at least 1 hour then study then go for another relaxation then sleep

It depends on the student who wants to have a good result, as per researches a student has to study before he goes to bed because the memory stores everything when he is going to sleep and when he wakes in the morning it should be at 4 in the morning to revise so that he will have fresh mind. A minimum of eight hours is recommended though to have a revision and a very good one too.

Choose two from this three options: 1) Good grades 2) Enough sleep 3) A good social life This is basically the choice you have as a college student. You can only have two of the three choices and you would have to sacrifice one of them. Try and think about it and there is no way you could have all three. Unless of course, you are a genius and an extrovert at the same time needing only about 4 hrs of sleep every single day.

Everyone is different. What you have to do is aim for a balance between your grades and your social life. Study enough to do well, but not so much that you completely cut yourself off. I think that the techniques that you use for studying are important. If you just sit reading over and over until the knowledge 'sinks in' then you will take longer than someone who uses mind maps, pqrst and other methods. It's more to do with being organised and using the right techniques than the actual time spent studying.

it depends on you, if you really want to make you and your parents very proud with high grades, then you need to spend alot of time studying, but also remember to unwind so you will not be stressed out and be bored have fun lotting and have a nice day
