Would mylot be awesome-er if it was like facebook?

Actually I like facebook less all the time. I like mylot although there are a few things I would like to see changed. If it turned into all the garbage like face book has I wouldn't come near as much. REally, how often do you visit fb in a day? maybe 2-3? But mylot I come back over and over!

If you want to bring more people in, invite them. Why do you want another facebook? Is one not enough? Gosh...I don't want to change myLot. I like it just the way it is. I don't think it is a social networking site, it is a discussion site. And it is very user-friendly. Even a stupid person like me can navigate quite well. And there are lots of people who are happy to give a helping hand if you need it.

In mylot i often get solutions for my problems apart from get investment. That's why i prefer using mylot for a long time while surfing internet . I just playing games and chatting in facebook and i guess it's just waste my times and often makes me bored. I guess mylot would be the best online forum ever. Happy mylotting for all

I don't think people would get as much out of Mylot if it were like facebook. The whole thing is totally different and I see a much different use of myLot than facebook. We come here to discuss topic, where as facebook is for keeping up with what is going on in someone life. Yeah there is some cross over but I think there if much more valuable information being passed here.

No, Mylot and Facebook are two different species. I also do Facebook but after doing my status update and responding a little bit to some of my friends' status, I leave it. Mylot is something else. I come here to expand my outlook of the world and of course, to earn. So I like the two sites to be separate and distinct.

I'm new here too but I have to say I like the layout here better than the new fb. I still use fb occasionally but I feel bombarded by the amount of apps and invites that I get sometimes whereas here I get to choose what I look at or participate in. I also don't like on fb the way that your info is shared with outsiders when you add apps, I guess it#s payback for the work put into developing the apps but still it feels unwieldy and a bit unsafe at times, the way that fb words it's disclaimer when you are about to sign up for apps - (not saying that it is - just that it feels that way to me lol). It's one of the reasons that I simply don't add them any more but then that prevents me from sharing many of the things my friends are involved in - catch22 and my choice but definitely one of the reasons I'm glad that MyLot is not like fb :)

If I wanted the Facebook experience, I would join Facebook. MyLot has its own personality so to speak. Do not take this as an attack, but I do get tired of people wanting to come in to MyLot and then tell it to change. MyLot is a discussion site and the people actually form real connections. They discuss real issues. It might be better if you would go into FaceBook and told it to change and pay you. There are other people who come in and want this change or that change. You are a new user, and you will get a real acquaintance with what MyLot is like and what it is really about. I hope you make lots of friends and talk about things that are important in your life. Lots of people on Mylot do use FaceBook, but the sites serve totally different purposes. I look now and see that this discussion is ten months old, and you have never been back, or have been back very little. I guess the real Mylot did not interest you.

i like mylot just the way it is, without changing it to look like facebook. I wouldn't be as interested in mylot if that would happen. Oh, I do have a page in facbppl. but I don't go in there all that much like I used to. Lets fazce it, mylot is just plain fun, and facebook is somewhat boring. sure, I have friends and family on it, and that is why I do go into facebook because of that, but nothing compares to mylot, and we get paid for doing things here, can share our views with others and learn. You certainly can't do that in facbook. There is no way to post discussions, like here, and I would certainly miss that. Nope, please don't change mylot into facbook, as it would certainly lose members, and that wouldn't be good. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
