I would absolutely love to one day have the opportunity to adopt a child. This is something that I've been interested in since I was a very young lady. Right now I have two biological children and if I am going to make the decision to adopt somewhere down the road, I want it to be when my children are a little bit older and also when our family is in a stronger financial situation. I have a lot of love in my heart and I would love to be able to share that love with someone that is lacking that in their life.

That's exactly what I did. I have two bio children who are grown and gone. They are always there for their new siblings and make the best brother and sister for them.

Too funny Christmas2006. I wish my mother in law was as supportive. We get "Where are you going to put them" "Are you sure you can afford this". We say "We've had them for a year if we didn't have a place to put them and the money to raise them, wouldn't we have noticed that already?" LOL

Well done girl. The world is a better place for people like you. The news is always full of such depressing stuff that I dont watch it any more. Mylot is far better to learn of the love in the world. It is so heartwarming.
I raised two children of my own and discovered that I am not patient enough to inflict myself on others that have already had a bad start in life.

It's a good thing that you were able to notice that on your own. Not all foster parents are good ones. The kids I have now have been to three really bad foster homes and are so excited that they are finally getting adopted. They really want to stay here forever.

Hello there my friend. I'm so busy lately now that I have five kids at home. Not to mention the grandkids comming over every now and then. I had my grandson all week last week. That made six kids for a week. Now summer is almost here and I go back to having the whole neighborhood over here swimming in my pond. LOL Busy, busy, busy.

I have already told my boyfriend that I want to adopt a child after marriage and no matter if we have ours but I would like to adopt one though. My mother is an adopted child and I think it is because of this reason too that I had made my mind to give happiness to other children too.

I am considering in adopting a child too. I think its okay to do that. There are so many kids out there who doesnt have a family and there are families who have a lot but they never think about sharing their blessings to other. Adopting a child is a noble thing to do. I would adopt not because I wanted to be considered noble but because I wanted other kids to feel how its like to have a family.

I really do admire you and I applaud you. I wish I am as brave as you are.
Taking in someone's child, and giving them love......I do think about it from time to time. I am scared that I might not be good enough.
You are doing great things. I hope one day I will be able to adopt one kid, at least.
