Yes, one of mine represents my marriage though it was actually bought after the ceremony.
I guess this shows discussions don't have to be too mind stretching to get responses!

I used to wear 8 rings, all in different fingers. They all carried a special occasion of before I got married. But then the wedding ring replaced them all. I only wear that one now.

Strange, how with marriage some people remove their other rings. I guess it depends on what the occassions they represented were.

None. Ihave a lot of rings, but I no longer wear any of them. When I was a teen-ager I had a promise ring, the kind with the thin band. I was running to class one day and grabbed the door facing as I swung myself into the room before the bell rang. Big mistake, my ring caught on the area where the door closes and took that ring and twisted it so deep into my finger I had to have it cut out of my finger. I didn't need stitches but I had a nasty cut on my ring finger. Now when I wear a ring I can feel that excruciating pain from that day! So, I no longer wear rings.

Wow, that must have been painful and can undrestand why you wouldn't want to wear a ring now. These sort of things get stuck in the mind.

I think it's good when a ring means something and isn't purely for decoration.

Four on one hand - one on each finger I suppose. Is the left hand ring a wedding or engagement ring?

Because you are not married doesn't mean you can't wear rings during the day, does it?

I wonder what sort of rings they are? Are they on three different fingers?

I have two rings in right hand - engagement ring and a coral, and one ring in left hand - yellow stone. The yellow stone has astrological significance. The coral is simply because I like the color. You know what the engagement ring is for :) lol!

They sound lovely rings. The engagement ring? Got an idea what that's for!

A lot of people don't like jewllery. It's good that we are all different.

I usually only wear one. It was from my best friend about two years ago on Christmas. My fingers were very narrow (Still are!) but in two years I've grown a little and it stays wrapped around my left middle finger. Blue sapphire stones with a silver ring. She's far away now, so it helps me think of her.
It's one of the only important rings I'll ever know.

That's the thing about rings, they become part of you. I have one from when I was first engaged, quite a lot of years ago, and it means a lot to me. I never take it off.

Do you have any 'special' rings? Engagement, wedding, friendship etc.

Good man, proud of his marriage. It must have been hell holding off all those ladies before.

I used to wear 5-6 at a time, being 2 or 3 per hand. Since I've had my sons, though, all I wear now is my wedding set. It's to east to snag them on stuff, or scratch the boys when changing them and such. I never take them off, even when having surgery. I just make them cover them up. I feel like it's bad luck to take them off, and I want my husband with me when they make him wait in the waiting room. I have the rings he gave me, so a piece of him is always with me. They also help me get through when he leaves on deployment, as well.

I wear two rings, one on each hand, also. My wedding ring is a beautiful engraved white gold ring. And the ring on my right hand is made from Black Hills Gold with a black onyx inset. It has special meaning to me. These rings are the only jewelry I wear.
