What brings you out of a sad mood? Any specific object or action?

Anime and manga bring me out of sour or sad mood. I'm a little bummed out right now and so now I'm about to watch Naruto anime. So fellow myLotters what brings you out of a not so nice mood? Hot chocolate? Screaming in a pillow? Exercising? Or maybe it's deep meditation. Share your stories. =)

I go out. It's not really to some other places but what I do is I just go out of my house and walk wherever my feet would take me... At some point, I forget that I am sad and when that happens, I realize that I have already walked a lot and now it's time to go back and walk again. Quite weird, huh? But what usually happens is I see many people while I am walking. I see some happy faces and I see some sad faces as well. And then I will realize that other people also have problems which could be bigger than mine so I must not be sad with anything but just be thankful.

well for me, music helps a lot even if the music does not really translate to what i am feeling - but any kind of music that i enjoy listening to helps me improve my feelings on certain occasion where i am not feeling okay.

That really depends on what brought about my sad mood. Sometimes if I'm just sad and not really knowing why or lonely or something then I'll put on a show that I like to watch that's funny. It could be just about anything. Fruits Basket, Red vs. Blue, South Park, Family Guy, or even just a comedy show. Anything that'll make me laugh or smile and usually that's enough to lighten my mood considerably. Sometimes that doesn't always work and if that's the case I might take a walk or do something outside. I love walking outside in the sun to clear my head. It's really relaxing and calms me down and makes me feel a lot better. It's no good if it's cloudy or nasty out. That bums me out even more. xD

There are number of things. If you talk about some objects. There are my some friends who are objects. Lol. I mean simply when they come i become happier and share my thoughts with them. But some time my best companion is my pc with internet connection and i think this is really my best friend.

I play guitar to get me out of a sad mood. Sometimes i sing but most of the time i just play randomly. I also watch anime to get me out of it. Animes just takes you out of the real world and into their world of fantasy and action like naruto. :)

I would love to go for a buffet or just a bar of chocolate to get me out. I like Naruto too! but currently not having much time to update with it...

Everyone gets sad sometimes and with me not everything always works that I use as tools to get past the sadness, frustration and being upset. I have a list of things I run through in any order: - yelling - running - listening to music - crying - searing and simmering - sleeping Once I get past the inital pissyness and get the groggyness I do something for me. Watch a favoprite movie. See my boyfriend or bestfriend (my sister if she didnt initiate it), just sit outside in the nice weather with a book, dance, indulge in something yummy. :) It's all about your mood and what you crave to satidfy yourself that day.

THE GOLDEN GIRLS! haha And if you saw me, you wouldn't guess it. I'm an edgy tattooed girl that curses more than a sailor and looks like shes mad at the world. Nothing makes me laugh like those old women though. I can be sad, angry, whatever. I pop in the DVD and within the first episode my mood completely changes.
