What is the normal heartbeat rate?

Mine is 58. I found it out when I had my blood pressure checked through a digital blood pressure checker. My BP was 100/66. My mom's officemates said that my heart beat rate is lower than the normal. They said that the normal is between 73 - 75, but I still want to know the truth myself. Maybe you can help me out and what's the implication of its relation to my rate?

Normal is 60-100 beats per minute. If you don't feel anything like fainting or dizziness, or weakness, I guess 58 may still be normal for you... If it falls below 50 plus you feel symptoms of decreased oxygenation, you should at least consult your physician...

The normal heart rate is 60 - 100 bpm. But 58 bpm is still okay because it is just near the normal rate. But you must be very careful with your heart rate because it might lower down even more. Doing some cardio exercise will help you increase you heart rate and be more healthy.

It's not that far from the normal heart rate. That's about one beat per second, usually a sign of good health. But you have to get a sample across the spectrum. When I am in training for a competition, I know I am in really good condition when I get an average of 40-45 bpm. I think that it may be due to your low blood pressure, seems lower than average. I suggest you consult a doctor.

It varies with each individual's lifestyle. The normal, i think, is 120/70. But if you have a very upbeat lifestyle it might go higher than normal. Think about how your lifestyle is and maybe change it for your blood pressure to raise.

Yes 58 is lower then normal heart rate. Normal heart rate is 60-90bpm. But childrens heart rate is more then 90. So you should take some rest. And don't tense so much.
