I love children -- all ages. I had nine, 5 girls and 4 boys. My first was born just before my 21st birthday and the last just after my 45th. My first weighed in at 4lb 13oz; number 5 was 10lbs 3 oz. I never got morning sickness and my longest labor was 5 hours. Sorry, no horror stories.

Wow, nine children! Did you ever have time for yourself?! I used to want seven though after having my first and so far only child I dont think I could handle nine. I love children, though and do want more. My daughter is now two and a half and is perfect. She weighed 6,14 when she was born and I had a pretty good pregnancy - no physical sickness though I did feel very sick right up until 16 weeks gone. My daughter was a 1% miracle so I dont know whether Ill be blessed with another though I feel very lucky just with the one.

I have 5 children, the first 2 are little less than a year apart, both boys, the older weighed 8 lbs 9 oz, the younger weighed 7 lbs 8 oz, he was the smallest of my five. The 3rd, our only daughter, was born 15 month later and came in at 8 lbs 13 oz, number 4 came 22 months later and he was a whooper at 9 lbs 2 oz, and finally the baby came 23 month later, never did make it to 2 years apart!! Number 5 was 8 lbs 14 oz also, so I had big babies! Like someone else said, I don't see how I got through these years (the "baby" is now 16) without any major problems or complications, the only trip to the emergency room was with the "baby" when he was about 9 years old from a trampoline accident which resulted in a broken arm....WOW!!

Hello momo and welcome to myLot. I'll bet there was never a dull moment at your house. You had such tiney babies didn't you? I have four in about 5 years Two were just a few days of being one year apart. I was finished by the time I was 24. My first weighed 8Lb. 4oz. then 9lbs 10oz and it went down hill from there with the last one being 6lbs 15oz I also didn't have any morning sickness. It took me a while to figure out how to work with the labor pains but when I did it went easier. I had 2 boys and 2 girls. in that order. And like I said never a dull moment. What amazes me is that not one got into an serious trouble considering what was going on around us at the time.. They all are grown now with families of their own.

I have got three children. I had my first baby son born when I was 22 years old. At birth he was 9lb and 4oz. He went straight into the 0 to 3 months old babies clothing. I had my second son when I was 34 years old. At 36 weeks pregnancy I found out he is disabled. At birth he was 7lb and 11oz. I had my daughter when I was 36 years old. I lost much blood after her birth. At birth she was 8lb. Each of my babies were born at home. My first labor was 8 hours, my second labor was 2 and a half hours and my third labor was 7 hours. So I have a 15 year old son, a 3 year old son and a 10 month old girl. I got evening sickness in my pregnancies.

OMG and you have no trouble raising them financially and mentally and physically? Just thinking of the clothes to wash is enough for me heeheehee. I have 4 and I think I should have stop at 2. If I did, I will be like a retired worker now but as it is, I am still "working" as there are still 2 younger children. (sweat)
