Do you like to clean?

Hello eddy, Normally, I am lazy when it comes to cleaning but when other people in the house are not around, i get the ants in the pants thing because no one will order me around like this after noon they weren't around i started cleaning the front, back and others. they're always surprise when ever they get home

Yes I like to clean very well at home and in my office. I agree with you that men are not used to clean than girls its because this work usually for girls. I can see this to my own hubby that he would not like to clean than other things. He is good in fixing and boys job compare to cleaning its for girls action. Their strong muscles is for heavy work and this light job for women. But in some instances that there is a need that no one can do the cleaning except for his own then he will be part of it and used to it after so many times. Depending on the situation where he is working and specially the overseas workers men they force themselves to clean for their own as their wives are far from them.

I'm a woman and I do not like to clean. But I have to. I can't possibly stay in a dirty and smelly place. I guess that's the way it is, we do it cos there's a need to.

Hello there eddyspaghetti.. well, i dont think its just ingrained with women, i think it depends on the person, my dad, he is very meticulous, when he see a lump of dust, or anything not in order... he gets angry then tell everyone in the house to do a general cleaning.. For me, I don't really like cleaning when i was younger, but now i treat as a hobby and for my well-being too... There are a lot of guys out there who likes to clean, no one is born who likes to clean, it's just being developed.. Have a nice day!

As far as I am concerned, I think like the clean so much in my daily life.For me, I think I just usually do not like the things that are so dirty in my life,whcih i think maybe influence my mod so much. With so clean and tidy things in my life, I think I can enjoy a better life .So bad things may lead to a bad or poor mood in the end.

Well first off, let me start by saying I'm a guy. Generally, I do not LIKE to clean, but I obviously do because I have to. And, for some reason, when I actually start cleaning, it's nowhere near as bad as I've somehow managed to convince myself that it is. So once I start I'm okay and I get on kind of a run, but leading up to it, I dread it.

I would say you're quite true. These behaviors of men and women somehow could be explained by customs. There are guys who never do cleaning because in their custom it's for women. oh my gesh! I don't like to have that custom though in Philippines it was then practice but now few of them keep it. We, in new generation practice the equality of gender responsibilities. SO I would say, for intellectual persona behaviors like those eddy said do no longer exist.

I think that's a hasty generalization. We can't really say who likes to clean more. I knew a guy who's really into cleaning. He likes to clean more than his sister. I for myself like to clean. Letting girls do all the cleaning is too old fashioned.

LOL...cleaning...okay, for one thing, girls, or should I say, MOST girls,(because I know some girls who are pretty sloppy), like to clean. They like it when things are organized and spotless. I for one, I don't like cleaning. But I HAVE to. Because I like to see things in an organized way. And I feel uneasy when I see a lot of dirt on my floor. I see images of roaches in my head and that usually makes my run and get a broom. As for the men not like cleaning thing...no comment LOL. If I do comment, you guys would kick my pretty behind...

I am a housewife and although I don't often enjoy cleaning, I know it has to be done and afterwards, I enjoy seeing the house is clean and tidy. But I wish I was a better housewife and that I kept on top of all the chores. I do think women are better at cleaning than men though, because I think society sees housework as being a job for women, so we feel more pressure. If my Mum or mother-in-law comes round and the house is untidy, they both tell me off and think I am the one who should do better. They don't blame my husband!

I don't like to clean ...because i'm a boy. But i clean, because we must be peaceful.

I don't like to clean. I'm very tardy at cleaning. You can't tell me to clean and expect that I'll do it. I'll just shrug it off.

all people want to live in one tidy house,so they have to clean it frequently.similarly,i like tidy environment,i cannot bear so dirty things that i like to clean.

Hi Eddy!. how are you today?. To be honest I don't like to clean the house, the only house job I like is cooking. Because I don't like to clean the house I try to more organised. I put every thing to it place after use, or wash the plate or glass that I use after using it. So I don't see mess in the house. From my personal opinion I find woman more organised than woman, because my dad and brother never cleaning the house. The will put every thing they use every where, really messy.

yes, girls mostly like to clean unlike boys.. boys can sleep even if their rooms are messy.. i have brothers that share one room in our house before and mind you i do clean their room but i see to it that the arrangement is still the same after i finished fixing things and the like... i do not know why boys are really lazy when it comes to cleaning and girls just like to do cleaning? well girls simply just like clean environment and in order just like how we fix our hair and how some do make up... :-)

Human psychology: Regardless of gender I think people feel like the following, If it is a habit == loves to do If it is a responsibility == likes to do even they feel hard If it is optional to him/her == likes to do ones or twice, hates in regular If it is none of above == Obviously hates to do

The reason why men don't like the cleaning because this is what the society sets. We are in a patriarchal state wherein men are above women. They don't like the cleaning because they are programmed to look for money for the family. Women are to take care of the children and do all the cleaning stuffs. And yes the society sets the expctatations that they should clean and be clean. Where in less expectations are set to men that's why only few of them likes to clean.
