still safe to consume

In my opinion it is not the water that expired it is the plastic container that make the water contaminated or expired. It is smart to check expiration date on our every purchase of a all products.

It is a good question. Any product observes an expiry date means the maximum usable period as per the contents purest quality will be served till the date of expiry. And after the exp. date, of course, the contents in the packet or whatever form will start losing its assured quality. In case of water, it is not one or two days, and after so many days of time, it will get react with the bottle substance and react with plastic bottle etc, may happen. Also, the minerals or the purity would vanish and become contaminated. These are the possibilities and chances of the product. However, it is advised that all products should be used within the date of expiry or date within the specified period from the date of manufacture. Some products comes with 'best to use 3 month from the date of manufacture'. In such cases, the date to be considered and calculated. Always prefer to use the products within the prescribed period. a tricky question.. i think water itself doesn't expire.. what expires is the percentage that the water is still clean,. because as time goes minerals and other components of water changes due to chemical change, so we're not sure if its still safe to drink that's why i think that some water has expiration dates..

I don't think about the bottled mineral water. I prefer to use only boiled water with myself.. Is best than we use package drinking water.. Some poor plastics materials also expose chemicals into mineral water..I tell you please don't use expired material's not only water for all products..
