Man!!! this movie just makes me crazy!!! dont know how many times i have watched it but whenever I get time...I watch it. The story, the picturization, the background music and most of all....Tim robbins and morgan Freeman!! O my god!! They are just too good. I think the charm created by this movie will never be lost. I have seen the movie (Forrest Gump) which won oscar in 1994 by competing shawshank redemption. That movie is also very very good. But when you will compare both of them...just cant think of anyone else rather than "The shawshank redemption". Its just great!!!

amazing, i cry a lot to see the friendship and the guy didn't deserve any of that, and to imagine that this is a true story! but the most amazing part is that the other friend won't end up alone

This is one of the best movies. It should have won some Academy Awards. At least for Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. I thought it was a really heartwarming film.

The friendship, the never giving up, the fight to live...this movie is in my top 10. It's so moving. We can learn so much in that movie, that's real life. Amazing.

I saw The Shawshank Resemption was about five years ago.Now its still one of my favourite movie.The man like Shawshank won't be captivited by anyone else but himslf.After 20 years prison life,he decided let himself free.That means the really freedom.

Quite possibly the best movie of all time. The writing, acting and storyline were top notch.

The Shawshank Redemption is, in my opinion one of the best films I have ever seen. I've actually encountered a couple of my friends who haven't seen it yet so I fully intend on having a movie night with them to finally show them it. I actually haven't seen it in a few years myself so it'll be a nice treat to show it to someone else as well as finally seeing it again.

my personal favorite movie.....never seen anything like it and don t thnk any movie will be able to beat the charm it created.....a must watch for any movie buff

Love this movie, it is one of my personal favorites. Everytime I watch it I get something new out of it. It definetley should be added to everyones movie collection in my opion.
