A passport is an identity document showing your nationality and your personal details. A visa is a permit given on your passport for visiting another country by the country you are visiting.

so that means visa is issued by the country where i am going to visit while passport is issued by the home countries.then why are visa forms rejected?

visa forms are rejected for many reasons, based on numbers, as many countries have a quota of people that are not nationals that live inside their country legally, could be based on a criminal record, or based on job factors. It really is hard to tell why a country would reject a visa without knowing all the factors

a passport allows you to be in a country, a visa allows you to legally live and work inside that country. That is my understanding at least
