I am getting fed up of people leaving me messages in my inbox as there are alot of times that i do not even bother with facebook and when i go on there people have left me lots of silly messages that are either too late to reply to or they are from groups that i have joined.Do you find this aswell.

Not for me because Im always on facebook that might be the reason why I never get my message too late when I get them. I guess you really on there too much and that the reason why you get to late in the process of getting them. I have you ever try to getting on most everynight before you go to bed and see if you message before it too late. Try that to see it might work and try to leave a message to them try give a real response to the message or leave small resonse like "How are you" or "write back when you get this" so when you have time. It won't be to late to response you have time.

The thing is that the people that leave the messages are the people that i see every day aswell as that they even have my phone numbers yet they still leave silly things. Then there are the people that are not my friends and that i do not know that also message me all the time aswell.I have blocked some of the people that send the spam as they are the ones that i do not know.

Really? I still love getting messages from everyone - even if we haven't exchanged words in a while. Well, I don't like messages from the groups I join - I ignore those. But I do enjoy hearing from friends and acquaintances that bother to at least say hi once and a while! I am on Facebook pretty often . . . and I'm still an addict!

Oh, ok, gotcha. Once and a while someone I don't know will ask for a friend request (which I ignore), but I've never gotten messages other than that. I guess Facebook is a way for me to communicate with everyone since I don't see everyone everyday and plus they know I'm better caught online than on the phone.

It also happens to me but it really doesn't bother me that much. I joined a group about Mafia Wars in facebook and its sending a lot of messages. But its easy to delete and I open my facebook account everyday.

I tend to only go on facebook when i am bored and i can not get to the pc as that is one of the things that i can do on my phone.I do not go on facebook all that often as i am always on here and then to see all the rubbish in the inbox on there it crazes me as alot of it is like spam.

Hi jugs, I do feel this way when seeing messages from people I don't know at all sending messages asking me to join certain groups there. I always ignore them. I have been member of facebook just a few months. I'm not as active as what I'm like at myLot. I sign in the site once in a while. Therefore I'm not familiar with all the features available there. I even don't know whether all the whatever available in my profile could be viewed by all or certain of my good friends only. I think it's time for me to explore that site and learn more about it
Happy posting

The way i see it is that if you wanted to join a group then you would join it but alot of the groups that people try to get you to join they are the groups that would not interest you.I ger people that send me all kinds of messages that they are not even my friends on facebook aswell as that i do not even know them.

I actually have found a way to keep those email notification out of my inbox. I categorized it through my email and whenever there's something from Facebook, I'd send it to the 'facebook' folder so that when I do want to see those notifications, I would look over them.

I hate the way that groups can message you about total nonsense that you couldn't care less about. I get it almost every day when I see that I have a message and then I log on and it turns out that it's a group that I don't even remember joining, let alone one that I would like to receive messages from!

I think that alot of the groups are a total waste of time as all they send you is a load of rubbish all the time and alot of the groups that want you to join that send you the messages are the ones that are not the type of group that you want to be a part of either.I have deleted alot of groups yet i still get all the messages from them for some reason.

I do have my facebook settings set such that those messages that I receive into my inbox on facebook into my regular email. However, I don't often receive messages on facebook. If I were to get to the point that I was getting a lot of messages through facebook I would kindly let those individuals that were constantly contacting me through facebook that I would rather receive my messages through my regular email account.

I like it, because at times like these, I can contact people when I can't get into my yahoo..Like today, yahoo is not letting me view my yahoo or to send e-mails. I needed to contact my niece, so I went to Facebook and e-mailed her there and got a quick response..:)

Hi Jugsjugs, At present on Facebook I have over 60000 inbox messages from groups I have joined and it is gonna take me a day or so to go into each and lave them and delete the messages, drives me crazy as I miss the ones from my real friends sometimes so much so that a friend willl post on my wall that I have received a PM. I will sort it but it is such a task and always have other stuff to do. Huggles. Ellie :D

I am not all that keen on Facebook to be honest and I don’t get too many messages just invitations to join groups and strange polls etc which I usually ignore. Some of the requests will be things like who do you think is the smartest of your friends and silly stiff like that...I mean, who cares?

I stopped using facebook altogether. At first it sounded a niceway to communicate with friends but soon I was being "spammed" by unknown people who were friends of my freind´s friends.
A real friend talks when he/she has something to tell you. And this is too open for intimate comunication anyway.
