Hypertension medicines as far as i know tend to damage more the heart, in seeking a medical help,Doctor will only control dosage intake but still require you to continuously drink the medicine..what do you think is the best natural way to treat hypertension or high blood pressure?

Obesity, sedentary life style, stress, high sodium intake have to be taken care of. Regular exercise, diet low fat and rich in fresh fruits and vegetables will help. 2 - 3 Garlic cloves or capsules taken daily morning help in reducing hypertension. just avoid food that may cause hyper tension like salty food and fatty food, also be calm and instead of taking everything too personally just leave them behind and laugh at it. always watch funny movie. if theres problem or fight, try to unwind your self like get out from the place and go somewhere else where you can relax like go to spa or relaxing massage. if you suffer hypertension and theres no medicine available you can also take garlic, garlic is one good natural remedy for high blood pressure, my mother used to eat it if she felt something bad though she know it really taste bad but its better that way than suffered.

Well if your hypertension is not that much then you can do eating diets and changing some lifestyle like trying to be more active physically. Exercise they say can lower cholesterol levels and eating healthy foods helps especially the veggies side. Minimizing the fatty food and high carbo foods would help a lot in maintaining this blood pressure problem.
But there are certain cases that really cannot be stopped with these method then you are advised already to take medications. I think age is one factor that you cannot avoid drinking medicines already. Sometimes when hypertension is triggered by age it is difficult to reverse back the situation anymore and more us

First you should not stop hypertension medication. Ask your doctor what you can do to decrease the dosage of your medicine. Because if you will stop taking medicine with-out doctor's supervisor your HBp might shut-up.

As far as I know exercise such as light walking , reduce consumption of salty, junk food, fatty food, and rice or carbohydrates. I read here you can do yoga with high deep breathing, use also of Garlic everyday. I hope I can help others with the same as my problem, I do really have dizziness everyday maybe of my medications, good luck.

There is this theory, that with controlled breathing, a person may be able to lower his/her blood pressure and stress level.
You can try this method in a quiet room by yourself. So the proper way to breathe is when you breathe in, your stomach goes up- that's your diagphram expanding. When you breathe out, your stomach goes in- diagphram deflates.
Sit down and be in your most comfortable position. Then, place your right hand on your stomach. Breathe in (stomach expands)... breathe out (stomach deflates)... breathe in... breathe out... breathe in... breathe out. Do this at a constant pace for about 5 minutes. Maybe while you're breathing in and out you could imagine yourself at a very relaxing place (the beach, beside a quiet lake). Keep doing that for 5 minutes and measure yourself with a BP machine and see if you're better.
I hope it works out for you somehow =)

One time when I had visited my doctor my blood pressure was higher than normal. I had asked her what I could do about it and she suggested exercise and weight loss. She said those were two big factors in helping bring down my blood pressure! Luckily it was just kinda a freak thing that my blood pressure was high that day and I don't have a history of high BP or anything.
