"+"... Do you know you make others happy?

Do you know that you make others happy if you use the "+" at rate of a discussion? Some people really post quality answers and quality discussions. Why don't you reward them for that? Let's all start giving these "+". And if you have seen a discussion that offends you and the other members give a "-". What do you think of that?

i think i know and i am trying to rate every time i respond to a discussion or rate responses in one of my discussions.i have never responded to any discussions that are that bad so i never gave - to anybody.i think we all should do it everytime we participate a discussion.

Yes. That's true. it's one of the rules for the MyLot team. But I have participated in 2 discussions that I had to give a "-" to the one and "!" (abuse) to the other. Thank you for answering!

I think it's a good idea to remember. Also, the + / - system may help prevent all the members who just post "yes" or "no".

If you give a person that answers with yes or no a - then this person will get bad credit and at the end they will be removed from the panel. Point of the site also is to keep discussios going on. Most people don't share the interest that's why they answer with yes or no. Don't give them anything and save the trouble.

There are some people that don't have the same interests with the rest of us. Try to understand that, and as a gift for just responding to your discussion, give them a + if you want to.

I use it all the time. I give a "+" to whomever answers to a discussion of mine, whether I like his answer or not. If some posts are offencing (in my discussions) I don't bother to give anything. But if I find a discussion that is offending then I judge with a "-" or a "!".

Yes it is! Do you know that after an amount of "+" you get this number beside your username higher? Do you know that you are rewarded from the MyLot team for receiving "+", because it means you give quality answers?

I only minus rate those who are not following the Terms of Service, after reporting abuse.. I really enjoy Mylot, and rating not only helps you and them with your own ratings, but it helps to let Mylot know which discussions are the most read, - DNatureofDTrain

I have seen people in here which they complain about the not quality discussions and they give them a -, and afterwards they are starting discussions sillier than the ones that they reported abuse to.

Yes. It's something that you are not told clearly about it by the MyLot team. If you read all the rating instructions carefully you will see that this is true. i didn't know that so I had to ask the Team and they "opened" my eyes.

i rate with + the more of the responses i get and almost all the topic a response(very little times i just forget do it)And i have few specially friends here that i rate them answers(not only at my discussions)with + .Sometimes but not many i rate with - ans report abuse 3 times,the 2 of the 3 mylot delete the topic.

I think we have to rate the responses and the discussions in order to keep the place "healthy".
