Have you ever read the washing preferences of your clothes before load them into the washing machine?
Have you experienced clothes which was damage by and re size because you throw them in the washing machine without paying attention on the washing procedures.
Most delicate fabrics can't used washing machine to wash,(unless used the machine preferences too) that will sure cause damage altered fabric after washed. Some maybe re size and other will get no longer back to its original size and look and even shape after washed by machine.
I'm pretty careful when it comes to washing procedures of my clothes especially my favorite clothes and garments with sensitivity in washing machine.I read carefully about the washing and even iron procedures as some fabric need to be very careful handling them. I will always set the washing machine in the washing preferences of the clothes that will be loaded, or even ask it for hand wash or dry clean if machine is not preferable.
Do you usually check them out?You might have some thoughts about this, kindly share with us for better ideas.
Thank you and Great day everyone!!

I always try to wash properly my shirts based on the instructions on how to wash it properly to avoid some problems. Especially on my special shirts that i treasure, LOL, it would be bad if those shirts have serious problems like loosing or some other cloth problems. I think its best to follow the procedures on our clothes on how to wash, and also how to iron it.

I pretty much wash everything in cold, and that avoids most problems...

Hi dawnald: I do the same even if I have never heard this advice I did it. Well maybe this explains why I have no problem when I wash my own clothes. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

Good morning Cloud, what i wear around the house doesn't take any careful washing. I do follow the rules w/my 'DRESS UP CLOTHES' as we use to call them. I wash everything in the washer just on different cycles.

I do not normally check the labels for washing preferences unless it is a piece of expensive clothing where it is made of exquisite fabric or certain clothings that might not be color-fast. So far I have not encountered any clothing that has shrunk because I have used the wrong washing settings, but your point is a good one to take note. It's good to check through the instructions of the clothing, it will help us gain knowledge on different kind of fabrics and their washing instructions, so that it speeds up the washing process.

hi cloud I always read the tags and washed my clothes according to the directions and also was careful not to overload the soap bit as in using washers in apartment complexes a lot of soap residue is left in the machines and you sometimes have clothes that all the soap w as not rinsed out. I take a damp cloth and wipe out the washers thoroughly to get rid of any left over soap residue. I also am careful not to use too hot water on some of my more delicate garments. it pays to take care when washing clothes.

I usually don't care much about the washing instructions given in clothes. Most of those instructions are there in expensive and branded clothes. I usually buy clothes of average rate and most of the clothes I have don't have that. Sometimes I see those instructions only after a few wash. But, I am careful when I am doing laundry as I do landry by hand and dry clothes in sun in a line.

Hi Cloud,
I do follow washing procedure in washing clothes. For those that need extra care, like the ones that require hand washing only, I do follow as instructed. I always separate the white clothes from colored, and I soak them (the whites) in water with powder soap overnight, or for at least 4 hours. Then I start loading them into the washing machine. I do the white ones first, and then the colored.

i dont just put everything im the washing machine as clothes is very expensive if we dont take care of them specially during washing like the case of mixing colors. before i wash i always separate which one to mix and which one is not. like all white must be together, all jeans must be together, all shirt with the same colors and all bed sheet and blanket must be together. i dont put undies in washing machine coz it might stretch up those garters specially my bra so i just wash them manually. i also follow the procedure of washing machine like shirt is just mild while jeans and bed sheet is strong or hard spin.

We usually send our clothes to laundry but we don't send those that aren't for machine wash. We know what clothes are only for handwash and what can be sent to the laundry.

I've learned from it before coz I really don't know how to wash clothes on the washing machine, I just load all my clothes there and wait for it it to be clean. But then, I've seen that some of my clothes are not so clean. So afterwards I'm trying to follow procedures before I'm getting onto washing again...

I also do that, my mother is very meticulous and she always adviced me to do the same when washing my own clothes. Mostly my mother do the washing at home and when she is out that is only the time I have to be engage in that. It is important to follow instruction to avoid ruining the dress, to avoid wasting money and electricity and effort. there are clothes that we treat as priceless jewels, so we are very careful. It is good that we follow washing procedure to use the dress for longer period of time.

I typically try to get things that don't have really strict rules for washing because with my children and nieces demanding the majority of my time, I really need to keep things as simple as possible. However, there are times that I have items that are dry clean only so I will keep those out of my normal laundry and will take things to the dry cleaners when I have quite a few different items that need to be cleaned.

Hi cloud: Sincerely I make hand wash and them use the washing machine and I have never experienced any bad result so I don't pay attention to that. Maybe I should care more about this things. I have to admit that I don't like to read the instructions of anything. That's a bad habit I know. Thanks for asking us this question. Have a nice day.
