How Many Posts?

On the whole, I try to find as much time as I can to enjoy the Mylot experience and of course make some money, for myself, but on the whole, I do not have as much time as I would like to dedicate my self here, although I am here much more than any other site these days, just down to sheer enjoyment. As an average my aim is to do between 50 and 100 discussions per day... that is whether I start a new discussion or answer someones... At the moment though I feel I am only really managing perhaps 30 - 40 max per day.
Do you guys have an aim of how many discussions you would like to take part in, one way or another, or do you just do what you can with the time you have avaliable?

I spend as much time as I can, trying to give quality to answers to things I, at least, think I know about.
Today, however, I am trying to reach the 500 mark, although that is unlikely. But I am looking feverishly for those things I hope that I know what I am talking about :)

I do that too! I feel strange discussing things that I'm not too sure about. I peruse the discussions hoping to find something I know a lot about too! Or things that I can discuss for a long amount of time. (:

I dont have an aim, I just come in here when I feel like discussing, like last night I made .24cents so that was a surprise because I always do like 1-10cents a day.

No I don't as I don't come here just to earn. I think you are putting to much stress on yourself by trying to do to much. If your posts aren't quality, you won't earn for them, and if you don't comment back to the responses you receive from your discussions, then you won't earn either. You only earn for what you do, and not what others do. I don't put a lot of emphasis on trying to do more than I know I can, because when I do that, the qauality of my posts decline, and I wouldn't earn for them anyway. I don't start all that many discussions either, as I would much rather post responses, as it is much easier than starting my own discussion. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

To be honest, I started off here just to earn money. But, in the past two days, I've really started to love it here. It's so much fun and the discussions are so intriguing. (:

He he,compared to my standards, you are doing a wonderful job Rosie!!I take two months(sometimes even more) to post in 30-40 discussions which you are doing in a day.My problem is that I find even lesser time to devote to My Lot.Although,I too have been trying to get to my first payout setting targets like 2-3 dollars a month but I have been repeatedly failing to meet them..:P...I would say,if you are able to make 30-40 quality posts a day,you should be happy...:)

Welcome to myLot!
I hope you took time to read the FAQs.
There you will see that myLot tell us that we earn for participating in quality discussions and not for posting questions and responses.
Posting many responses is not the best way to go about myLotting but taking an active part in discussions by commenting back when your response receives a comment is what a real discussion is all about.
Sadly several Lotters skip the FAQs and do not realise that they could be doing things in the way that myLot tell us in the FAQs and be happier Lotters.
" Use myLot, post discussions, respond to discussions, comment on discussions, or perform searches.
Post quality content. For example, generate discussions that engage other users and provide insightful responses and comments to other users discussions to further the topic "

at first, i set a target as to how many discussions i should reply to and how many i should start. i target at least 20 discussions to reply to. but eventually, i got caught up with work and i dont have much time here in mylot but i still come once in a while.
i still love mylot!

Yes, I do have a bit of a daily goal but it is much lower than yours! I try to make at least ten posts a day, and sometimes I do more. I don't have a lot of time to be messing around the internet. I'm a really busy person! Most of the time I just pop on mylot and see what's new that I can add to in a limited amount of time. It's worked pretty well and I earn fast enough for my tastes.

Hello rosie230,
Wow that is a lot answering. I only do rougly 5 a day and 1 question a day. I have ahard time coming up with questions and getting them into the right catagory etc..
I am glad to see others are doing quite well here and enjoy it. I do too and meeting lots of new people all the time.
The answers are funny at times, sad at others and revealing or I did not know that etc...
Thanks and have a great day
Sincerely Unique16

haha.. wow your responses were really numbered huh?
In my case I don't really have the goal of making 30/40/50, etc. in responding or making discussions because there were times that I'm not interested on the topics that were present and sometimes, I don't feel like responding a lot because of my schedule in the computer. I simply make sure that I was able to respond to those discussions which I think would really be interesting and something that can utilize my time here in mylot too. :)

I've just started, but I've noticed that I usually make around 30 posts in various discussions a day. I try to make more, but after awhile, my wrists begin to hurt. It's quite upsetting because I find mylot such a fun place to participate in. Everyone is friendly here and the discussions are intriguing and make me think. I think I'm going to hike my goal up to 50 posts in discussions. (:
