Wow I thought it was Crystal who's gonna be the next american idol, but finally it's Lee who made it.

I thought so too, based on her performance and on the judges' reactions. Lee's face while getting it from the judges was hard to paint, but I always thought he delivered with greatness especially in the last few weeks. Nevertheless, he was consistent and learned to perform from the heart towards the end of the competition. Either way, I think that Lee and Crystal are both on level ground. I am positive that they will both produce great albums in the future.

Yeay for Lee! Although, if it was based on their last performance, Crystal should have won, but she has a smaller fan base. Well, she's been good from the start, they should have given her a recording contract right then and there. But Lee's transformation is astounding. I didn't even know him at first! And then he started improving and gaining confidence. And then everybody started noticing him - even the judges who were rooting for Crystal since day 1.
This definitely makes my day! Happy Lotting y'all, especially to Lee Dewyze fans! Rock on!

I definitely thought Crystal would win after the judges comments on the second last night -at the end of the night he looked so nervous and crestfallen -it was like he knew he wasn't gonna win -and Crystal looked so confident after all the great comments she got -it just goes to show you- you never know who will win until the end. I'm glad Lee won but I think Crystal should get a recording contract for sure -she deserves it

so I take it you voted for Crystal? I did not really like either of their voices. I don't think he has the energy I normally would like to enjoy from an entertainer and neither does she.
