The first book I read written by Dan Brownwas The Da Vinci Code, which was his most famous and successful novel.Since then,I'm addicted to the world full of data, symbols and history secrets. And I also bought his every book and read them again and again. And his latest book The lost Symbols has come out last year.It is still so exciting and attractive that I can wait to look his mew story of Doctor Robert Landen. In my opinion,Brown is a truely genius.
Do you read his novels? And do you like his novels?

Dan Brown is a true master. His books grab me from the first few words and I'm caught until the finish. I've loaned out his latest book (The Lost Symbols) I have yet to read it but I can't wait to get my hands on it again. He's got a devoted fan here.

I read The Davinci Code when it was all the rage. It was an ok book, but not what it was hyped up to be. I have read his other books - Digital Fortress, Angels and Demons and The Lost Symbol. I am almost finished with Deception Point. He does do a good job at writing, but I don't care for one thing he ALWAYS does. You'll get all the information for something important, then he ends the chapter with something like "and then...". He'll pick up on it a couple chapters later after he's done the same thing a few more times to you. He doesn't clear anything up until the end. It's very annoying. I like suspense and all, but I just don't like his style with it. I keep thinking he'll do something different with each book, but it's all the same.

I have read The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Daemons, and I thought they where awesome.
I can't stop reading them when I get into them, I am constantly saying to myself, "just one more page". This can go on for like a hundred pages or more.
Dan Brown is a great writer, and I love how he uses cliff hangers at the end of his chapters. It makes me just want to keep going to find out what is going to happen, and when I have to stop reading for some reason, I am constantly thinking of wanting to pick up the book and keep reading, it's like and addiction. =P

i enjoyed reading the da vinci code and angels and demons. i did not like the lost symbol. i thought it lacked the punch of the two former books.

i think so too. he had become more predictable isn't he? but, because we have freemasons here, i think it had become more interesting on that part. we don't have illuminatis here nor do they still exist but i really, really like ambigrams and sometimes i do wish there was "symbology" course in college. heheheh...

I have read Angels and Demons, the Da Vinci Code, the Digital Fortress and Lost Symbols.
I thought that the Digital Fortress was pretty bad myself, I DID enjoy Angel and Demons and the Da Vinci Code, but by the time I got to his latest - the Lost Symbol - I thought that they were al becoming a bit of a muchness.
By the way , I HATED the DVC film, it was far too different from the book, I wouldn't go and watch Angels and Demons because of it!

I read Dan Brown's book "The Da Vince code some years ago when it first came out and there was all the controversy about whether it was really factual or not. I was not impressed with his writing. I felt like I was reading on of those cheap detective novels from the 50's. It was not a novel that really kept my interest. It was the only one I have read and I'm not interested in reading any more of his novels.

Yes, I have read The Da Vinci Code, and thoroughly enjoyed it. How true it is I do not know, and I guess nobody will know for absolute certain, but it takes you into a great imaginary world. I will also read his new books too and any movies that are made... _Derek

I read the Da Vinci Code and thought it was brilliant, Brown has a real skill with the symbolic aspect of the story. I should read more of his books but have other more pressing literature on my list!

I've never read his work but I've seen both of the films made from his books, and must say I'm fascinated by his ideas and thoughts and the way he puts things together, and the films have made me become more interested in reading is work he must be really intelligent to have written such work, very entertaining indeed.

Yes, I have read all of his books, and they're ok I guess! I got to read them all so the writer did get my attention. however, i noticed that he has this certain formula he uses in all his books and sometimes the end is predictable. he is a good writer though!
cheers and happy myLotting!

I have read Da Vinci Code, Digital Fortress, Deception Point. I enjoyed them. My first Dan Brown's was well, da Vinci Code, and it made me want to read all his books. I haven't read 'The Lost Symbol' yet, I planned to buy it a few times and I just haven't managed to do it yet.
I don't like the movie of Da Vinci Code either. The movie did not do anything for the book.

I am a Dan Brown fan. I've only read 3 of his books though. The first book I've read is the Da Vinci Code even before the concept of having a film adaptation of the book. I fell in love with his writing although I must say his novels are quite long for my taste. Even so, they're all worth reading. In addition to the Da Vinci Code, I've read Angels and Demons and Digital Fortress. Hopefully, I can finish Decption Point and The Lost Symbol. Dan Brown is just talented and so smart.

I have read Angels and Demons and the Da Vinci Code. Love them both! I like the way he merges facts and fiction and still make it look really credible.
