I have excerzed at work. I have a sit down job where I am alone for 8 hours with nothing to do but be board. So I have started walking in place for about 45 mintutes a day. I feel like I am just wasting away just sitting doing nothing. If I am sitting doing nothing I'm just gain wait. Who wants extra added weight that they don't need. I know I don't. I have gain 15lbs just. Sitting and doing nothing and I am embarrassed and ashes. I feel I need to get in shape, excersize when I can, and start eating better. I was eating pizza every day and drinking like three or four sodas a day. It was not heathy at all. I am now tring to excersize everday to bun that unwanted fat I have gained. I looking to gain a better looking body from what I am doing.

hey! lets trade our job, you just sit and you get paid? what a best job, cheers , anyway, you can trim your fat by simply putting strong discipline to your self by avoiding those unhealthy food, have well planned good diet and you can have exercise at work like taking the stair instead of the lift...

I used to work at the front desk of a hotel, which basically involved sitting at a computer and every once in a while checking customers in. I made it a point to bring one dumbbell to work (and I had it very well) but whenever I needed to get a little bit of a workout in, I'd do whatever I could with that dumbbell, as secretly as I could. Basically I just did arm curls but it was something but something is better than nothing.

they actually have products on the market for this type of thing. where you can have a machine below your desk, or even a treadmill like thing at your desk.

On slow days at the office, I've carried file folders around and gotten a good walk in. Looks like I'm working and sometimes I stop to ask a coworker a question or two on a project, but it does get in a little extra movement in my day. I also try to park a ways away and do a few easy standing exercises when I can. Not sure if I could get away with full blown routine with situps and such but it's good to squeeze in some extra exercises throughout the day when you can!

yeah tuckersheri...im also exercising at work..wht routine do u usually do?bosses are not that receiving to see his employees exercising...the employers gotta change...staring at computers for hours only benefits 1 party = the company but eats us in the long run its a bit forward for me as a new employee to hush my bosses when he responded negatively seeing me exercising thus whenever i go to toilet, i would stop by an open area...and i would do sit -ups, squats and chin up whenever i see any suitable bar... u shud do that...it shows lack of knowledge when my colleague said it is not good to immediately do sit-ups and squats without any warm-ups...i said...those routine IS THE WARM UP by bodybuilders... buy yourself those synthetic rubber band ...GYM IN THE POCKET...u cn do numerous exercises with that brilliant thing.

Hi tuckersheri, it's nice for you to stay away from your seat for a while since you have nothing to do. It's not healthy as well if keep on working and sitting in the office for eight hours long. it's a wonderful idea of doing some appropriate exercises to promote the blood circulation eh... Yeah, it's really to easy to gain weight if sitting and start to work for hours after just finish having meal or foods. I have no time to do exercise like you during my office hour for I could hardly eke out even a few minutes to do other personal matters except visiting the toilet Other than taking the regular three daily meals I like eating snacks as well. To avoid to gain weight I'm strict to myself to have physical exercise regularly at least five days a week. Lol...this is the best way to keep my body fit and healthy. I go to jog at the nearby neighborhood in the evening. Take care and happy posting!
