Having ice cream daily........ HEALTHY or UNHEALTHY????

ICE CREAM hmmmmmmmm!!!! i love it, so delicious and creamy. My favorite flavor chocolate and butter scotch. Some say eating ice cream is good for health as it is rich in calcium but some other say it is unhealthy. which is true and what do you say it is HEALTHY or UNHEALTHY?????

I may say it depends on how much is your calorie in take everyday.
Eating one scoop of your delicious chocolate ice cream everyday may not be that bad. Two sccops is enough, three scoops is too much. Cutting down the toppimgs on it can help as well make the habit healthy. No marsmallos, candy sprinkles or chocolate kisses. Trying as well a non-fat ice cream can help us turn the in-take healthier.
But if you are going to ask me if it is okay to eat ice cream everyday. I say NO. Study shows that eating ice cream everyday can give you 20 pounds more in a year. You may not want to gain the sickness we can get if we are overweight.

I agree. I mean, if you eat a whole gallon of ice-cream per day, it's unhealthy. If you eat a scoop or two, it isn't that bad.

Well I guess it can be healthy but like anything not everyday. I believe if you eat it everyday it can be fatten for you. That is why I only eat it maybe every other day during the smmmer months. The winter I usually stay away from it. My favorite ice cream is Breyers Rocky Road, its so good. I may just have some tonight for dessert.

ice cream has both milk and sugar. though milk is good for the health, sugar must be taken in sparingly.
as rule of thumb, anything in excess is not good.
maybe you can cut down on your consumption of ice cream just to make sure that the sugar level in your blood is still on the minimum.
but you can enjoy the fun of eating ice cream whenever you can. just slush it down with loads of water afterwards. =)

you may get fat if you eat lots of ice cream every day and might get diabetic, you may try to search on internet about it for more info.

Just about anything - in moderation - is not bad for you. I used to eat ice cream every day when I was pregnant. I did gain more weight than I wanted to, but it came off easily. I was pretty active so it wasn't a big deal to eat ice cream all the time.

Too much of something is bad for your health. I think it's both healthy and unhealthy. Healthy because of some of it's ingredients, like what you said it's rich in calcium. While unhealthy because it makes you fat. It's all up to you. But I think that would be so good if we get to eat 1 liter or 1 cup of ice cream, with different flavors everyday. ^^

its unhealthy for those who have diabetes and high blood as ice cream contain high sugar. but as long as you dont have any health problem nor health issue then why not, as for me since its too hot, i would love to have ice cream everyday besides must also need to minimize of up to 1 glasses a day and not a gallon a day

It's a healthy. Because ice cream made by milk. And milk is very healthy. But more calcium in our body is also unhealthy and create some disease in our body. So extra ice cream is unhealthy otherwise not.

I love ice cream too.my favorite is the plain white vanilla.i believe that ice cream is good for your health because it is made from milk.you can get extra benefit if it is along with addition stuff like nuts, fruits,almonds etc.But bear in mind that consume it too much will make it change from healthy to unhealthy for your own health.it is not just for ice cream but generally for any kind of foods.Always keep in mind to eat food in moderate intakes.
