Well, first of all, you are on the right track, starting discussions. Remember, don't go for quantity but go for quality. Don't just spam discussions and hoping a few of them would get responses. Try and start quality discussions Pick your interests that you could talk about. The ones that you could give feedback and good opinions. That way, you could always have some discussions to respond to. Be polite, make friends, use the search bar but don't abuse it or else you would get flagged. Read the TOS and the FAQ on starting discussions so that your discussions won't get deleted. Deletion means your earning for that discussion would be voided.
