What are you saving up your money to buy?

I have a feeling my laptop is going to buy in a few months. It's having problems booting and a lot of people I've known who had this computer had the same problems as me and told me their hard drive failed. So, instead of buying a new hard drive, which is expensive, I'm planning on buying a Sony Vaio CW Series. What are you saving up to buy?

Now that you mention Sony Vaio, I shall be having one of those next month. A colleague at work has bought the new IPad and is selling his laptop to me at a very low price and it's only six months since he bought it My online earnings are all going into the same pot. I have never touched them in three years since I started earning online. One day I shall be visiting my sister in US and I will be using them all for that trip. Hey I see you got your smilies - well done!

I think the Sony Vaio is a marvelous machine, or so it seems. I never tried one before. I'm going for the $800 price tag. I don't mind if I pay a lot if it lasts and has good features. He liked the iPad that much? I think it's a dumb concept I mean, you can't close the lid when someone tries to peer over your shoulder! Thanks. My wrists hurt from typing so much, but I think I'm addicted to mylot and am happy about the smileys. Aw. That's nice of you. Where do you live now? And why not in the US? How much do you make online?

I'd rather have a laptop than an iPad too. Wow. Italy. I'm 100% Italian and want to visit there one day. How is there? Wow. Care to be my teacher with online earning? Please? I have a long summer vacation, you see...LOL

Saving up with money? Really nothing though I am sure when I get my payout here I'll have something in mind to buy.. But on swagbucks I am saving up for a $50.00 amazon gift certificate so I can buy this book I want. It may take a while, I only have 1,019 and I need 5,900. But I can be persistent if I want to be..:)

My ram is quite old. It's really hard to find one which can suit for my notebook. My one is 256M DDR2 533 "SDRAM". Not the normal DDR2 533 RAM, it's SDRAM. I couldn't find it.

What kind of computer is it?

RAM isn't as expensive as a whole new hard drive. I bought 1 GB of RAM for my computer for less than $50.

My husband and I are saving up to buy a house, as well as to buy video games, we're also saving up for a vacation we are taking this year. Actually, I can't tell you what we're not saving up for. We're mostly spending now though, if it's not on bills or food, it's on video games. I've not got a job so we're not really able to lay out a budget plan or anything like that. Until I get a job, I'm mylotting. I guess you could say I am mostly procrastinating either way though. We do know what we want to get in the way of a house, well rather a doublewide. We also know where we're going to put the doublewide, we've just got to save up, I've got to get a job, and then I think six months after I get a real job we would be set to start looking for the doublewide of our dreams, lol.

My family and I are saving up to go to one of the amusement parks this summer. We hardly ever get to go anywhere so we have decided to save up money for a trip.

My family hasn't been on vacation since I was 10 years old. We just don't have the money. I went to Disney World in Florida. That's the depths of my vacations.

Trust me I do understand. That is why we have to save up for it. We have been very fortunate that my spouse and I have both so far been able to keep our jobs. The economy is so bad now and days it is really hard on a lot of people to pay their bills more less take a vacation.

I'm saving up my money to pay for rent because I'm moving off-campus next year. I consider it a pretty expensive fleet since it's a few hundred dollars each month (though I would have help from family and financial aid). The joys and expensiveness of growing up.

Right now I don't have anything I really need but this does not make spend all my money on things I don't need.My best example is that a friend of mine used to earn money for one evening that I earn for more than a week and now their disco closed and as he cannot find job right away he has no money left.He begs from all people he knows. That is why I save-I will need them for something some day!

Well, at the moment, I am saving up my money so I can have some spending money for my holiday and maybe some for my sister. Though seing as I don't really have a job at the moment because, there isn't any jobs nearby that I can apply for, I can't drive yet and I have exams, thats going to be a hard task. Although I would say the supermarket nearby will be looking for some applicants for a summer job, which I may put my name down for. Well you can't win it if you are not it ;)

I'm not really saving up any money, really, at this time - but I'm hoping to get out of credit card debt soon - and I definitely have to save up to do so.. Good luck with the laoptop thing! My sister has a Vaio, and it seems to be pretty good.

Wow, that's cool. I'm actually saving up for a trip with friends this August, we're going to Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia, already got our tickets which were really cheap cause it was on a sale, and now I'm just trying to earn more to have some extra cash for the trip, for shopping mainly. LOL.

LOL. I know, but there's no way my parents are going to pay $800 dollars for a new laptop. I might gather some money, but my laptop might die before December. My boyfriend is willing to put some money aside for my laptop too.
