Help me to watch the world cup..please , please , please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in India and we have cable system here . World cup is going to be telecasted in ESPN and 2 daus ago a dispute happened between our cable operator and ESPN . So , ESpn is no longer available for us . I have a 256KBS connection . Can I watch the worlcup online through my PC for free . I won't mind paying for it but the clarity should be good . I guess it will lag for my speed ! Please mention some sites for watching !

Why don't you get Tata Sky or Dish TV or any of the DTH services? I recently switched to Tata Sky, best thing I've done as far as watching TV goes. I was very loyal to my Cable TV provider and stuck with them even when everyone told me it's better. There has always been service disruption, and their service was not great, to say the least. I had some problems about 3 months ago and after reporting the fault, they didn't come for 2 weeks. So I decided it was time to switch. Now, there has never been any problem, and I get all the channels.
Also with the cable, I used to get some channels in Hindi only, which was annoying as I don't understand Hindi. Now, I get everything in English, it's great.
