ABS CBN should Replace Wowowee Already

I have to agree on this. I'm not actually into the concept of Wowoweee in the first place. I do have a lot of issues against the programs. LOL First, I think the program doesn't help the poor. Sorry, to say but it can be compared to giving alms which propagates... well, I don't want to elaborate but I can see that you guys are getting my point. Give a man a fish and he'll satisfy his hunger teach a man how to fish and he won't be hungry for the rest of his life. Another thing is Wowoweee uses the poor to their advantage. Take of the mask and everything and you'll see that it's all about ratings and sponsorship. I'm not a pessimist or anything and I do have faith on mankind but is it logically possible that a man who was once suspended numerous times because of misconduct, vulgarity etc.. and was accused of domestic violence, speculated to have sexually harassed some women be completely changed into a man of profound compassion OVERNIGHT. I hate to say that he's putting up an act but he is putting up an act.

Hello mimiang, Nah, I don't think so, if they change the title now, then it would go back from scratch in terms of getting that show popular again.i believe this is a challenge to the management to recreate the concept or remarketing to get more viewers or make the show attractive again.

well i think they already said that he will come back. But i don't know when. When rico puno was the host, he said something willie coming back so does robin. I think he us just letting the issue die for a while before he will come back.

I so much agree with you mimiang... I think that they were into Willie Revillame and a lot of actors are ignoring their chances of being a part time host because they always believe that Wowowee is created for the Filipino people with Willie Revillame as the instrument to the goodness it can offer.

I agree with your opinion, it's really time to conceptualize for another entertaining program which has no connotation on the host's name. Anything that would appeal to the masses.

In my point of view, yes I think you are right, its not fun to watch that program anymore, its getting boring and boring everyday and the name of the show you are right it should be change.

yes you are right it should already be changed--anyway it's just a fad, it would die out soon.why not make a program that is more befitting than wowowee...

Yes I guess the show was really fitted for Willie and no one can really replaced the show because it will always be Willie's show in the end. I think it is a wise decision if the show would be replaced soon and a new one would replaced it. Showtime has established itself already it has created rapport already and it eats up the time of Wowowee they can replaced it with Wowowee but it has to make many adjustments.

I agree with you. I guess it is time to replace wowowee with another noontime show. .. By replacing the show, the ABS CBN management can now choose among the many celebrities and talents they have have as to who will host the new show.

yes. i agree that ABS CBN should already changed the Wowowee noon time show because it is directly connected to its previous host. This i believe will be a great challenge or test for ABS CBN management because Wowowee has already been at the top of the ratings, even on top of its rival Eat bulaga. Should ABS CBN management change this, they have to come up with something that is new, fresh, and more attractive than the previous or lest its viewers press the remote for another channel or simply turn off the television set. In fairness to Willie Revillame, he has done a great job on propelling the show to where it is now and on how the people love the show for the help to the poor it has been known for throughout the years of its existence. I hope the next show that ABS CBN puts as a replacement for Wowowee will equal or surpass the ratings of its precedent! God bless to ABS CBN on this. Take the challenge. It will reveal who you are

I think it is enough to just change the title and retain majority of its segments but put in new games in order to give the show a new lift. In changing its name the management of ABS-CBN should see to it that it does not stray far from its original name, like "Wow kami!" or "Wow, happy!" etc.

your right.. i totally agree... let abs-cbn move on and let everybody move on.. lol if its not willie then it shouldnt be wowowee.. its another noon time show.. well, probably soon they will change the name of the show... i hope

i agree. the name itself reminds the people of Willie Revillame. they should really change the setup and the name of the show. or else people will always see Willie Revillame as the host of WOwowee.

A new show with different hosts would be better.
