Do you hang out with your co-workers outside of work and at night?

Hi my fellow Mylotters! I just want if you are the type of person who loves going out at night with co-workers. I personally don't like to hang out with them because I jut don't like night life, I prefer staying at home with my family or talking on the phone with my bestfriend, MyLotting, etc., and my co-workers all love to drink alcohol. Then they excuse from work the following day because of a hangover. I don't think that's responsible. Drinking is all they ever do. sometimes i feel left out but I really don't want to hang out with them. Am i a "kill joy?" I'm not really a kill joy, but they are so irresponsible, I don't want to be like them. I do hang out with a person or two, just no drinking alcohol involved.

I haven't spent some good time with my colleagues after work yet. But I'm looking forward to a good event hopefully sometime soon. It won't happen everyday anyway. Sometimes, going out with your colleagues for leisure and not for work is a good thing because it makes your bond with them stronger. I find good relationships with colleagues healthy and it promotes good attitude towards work and towards your individual and the company's goals.

Yes, I agree that is a good reason to hang out with co-workers, but I think it is good only if it is organized as a company event so that nobody will be left out.

I only hang out with those I consider to be my friends and people who are close to me. I dont like going out with the others cause I dont feel comfortable with them. I also dont want to go out with the others just for the sake of going out with them. I want to have fun and I cant have that if I am with these people.

in a way, we are the same, yeah, I'm also not comfortable going out with them because we are not close friends at work, I mean they are also a "group" of friends at work.

Hanging out is good to de-stress. You could always hang out on weekends if you prefer staying in on weekdays wiith your family.

Ever since I got involved with earning online, I never had the time to go out, hang-out or unwind during night time. I'm not complaining though. In fact, I enjoy earning so much because I know that one of these days, I'm going to have financial freedom to enjoy things.

hi, i think hanging out with co-workers at night after work is fine as long as you do it in moderation. one must know the limitations for everything, like you can hangout with your co-workers once or twice a month then with other friends once a month and most of the nights with family. it is important that we share some light moments with our co-workers since sometimes it get s to tense at work. going out with them outside work will neutralize the impressions.

Hmm..You have a point there, but my co-workers are fake, plastic people and I can't get along well with them, so how can I de-stress with them.?

sometimes because it will help me to gain my boost my self confident to other person because a type of person that is kill joy.. i always want to focus on my job and have a lot of money.. but i was wrong.. hanging out with my co workers give me some time to enjoy and give a life to me as a person.. it will also help me to socialize with other people around us..

I have had co-workers that I do hang out with but it has been a while. I have a few very close friends and my family and they are who I spend most of my spare time with. Nothing at all against my co-workers. I love them but we are work mates. They are awesome to work with but unless we have something in common beyond work than no...we don't hang out.

I like hanging out with my teammates, although we never drink on a weekday, it just really makes going to work the next day sooo hard.. I don't think you're a kill-joy, you're just Matured. 
My teammates would usually go out during fridays and just catch a movie, or sometimes go out on dinners and have some drinks afterwards.. It's a nice bonding time for us, so it's not always work, and our friendship would not be confined to work.

No, i am not that person who goes out with co workers during at night. I don't have any experience about night life and i don't want to experience too. I love my family, I would rather take them out for a family date

I like to stay home most and rest than hang out with my friends at night. However, I am not as kill joy as that but if i do I am more responsible.
What I like to do is to have an outing with my friends. Go to different places. Try an extreme adventure and sports.

well, yes but i find it a lot harder to get close to them because you have come on different backgrounds and such. And its different in a work environment and outside. i know some co-workers that is different when working and outside.

That where I meet my best friend about six year and still friends until days. Sometime they are like that and just in courage to in the right direction trust me. if you two are still friends right now
