I recently signed up for odesk a week ago, and landed my first job. I had the interview on skype, and it went very smooth. The job will pay me $50.00. Odesk is great because even if your coming from "corporate america" those skills can still be put to use. They have jobs for email handlers, chat handlers, data entry, customer service and the list goes on. There are also alot of writing jobs to choose from as well. Has anyone else had any success with odesk?

I am curious about oDesk. What particular kind of job are you planning to work out in oDesk? I am interested in working with them, but I guess what they need are professionals and they don't hire amateurs. Am I right?

Hi Magtibaygom,
Odesk hires all types of professionals no matter what your background is. You can be an expert or an amateur. Even if you take a test and don't pass you always have the option to retest again. The companies on odesk are not looking for you to be perfect. Even when you submit a cover letter for the job your applying for it's suppossed to be about you and what your looking to do with the rest of your life. The employer's are very personable and down to earth. At first I was overwhelmed to but when you push that to the side, the possibilities are endless. There are so so many jobs to choose from, you might find one where you are the only applicant. Good Luck.

Hi there! Congrats to you my friend. It seems that is interesting and want to sign up too. By the way, I want to know what odesk can provide to those who will sign up? Is it available or open globally or international? Please let me know so that I may try it on. Thanks!
