As far as I know the acronymn XP stands for eXtra Performance. It cannot be denied that Windows XP performs a lot better than its predecessor, Windows ME, in many areas.

yes, that right XP =experience. and i think this the most successfull microsoft's operating System. And Tux is short for "Linus Trovald's Unix".
