Hi, Today I finanlly got round to buying a new keyboard, one that is not sticky (yet lol) one that I can see all the letters on (keypad not worn yet lol) so now the only error are genuine typings erors on my part and cannot blame the keyboard. The reason I had to make this purchase was that I locked myself out of my bank account as keyed in the wrong letter as couldn't see it on keyboard. I still say though that my brain is working faster than my fingers which is why they occur. Have you recently purchased anything as a must rather than a need? Huggles Ellie :D

If you can afford then why not? keyboard prices ranges from the least price of $4 to an expensive price of $33. Besides you said you have to change it because of what happened, so buying it would not be too bad at all.
I consider it a need already, not a want if I would be in hassle just what happened to you. But anyway, you should be careful next time in typing specially in keying in for your bank details. Happy Mylotting.

Maybe you should have bought a new dictionary along with your new keyboard.
finanlly finally
Maybe your keyboard was never at fault.
Sorry, I'm just having one of those days.
Friendly banter.

Congratulations...finally!!
Remember to add the Spell-check feature too ellie then you will be as right as rain. I don't know how you managed for so long without a proper one as I could not have done it and keyboards are cheap here.
I did something like that just the other day.
I always have my camera handy and I went to get it the other day and could not find it. I searched everywhere turning cupboards and handbags upside down. I figure I put it away somewhere really safe for some unknown reason or I (or the cat) inadvertently knocked it into the waste paper bin...this happened recently with my address book (I think) which also disappeared. Of course I went on Ebay meanwhile just to see what was on offer and ended up buying another...same brand, different model, better camera, refurbished, great price.

Hi MsTickle, I often have things just disapear to reappearsometimes months later but that must have been really frustrating losing both address book and camera. Glad you managed to pick up another one reasonably though. I don't think the keyboard has helped as I still make mistakes and haven't a clue how to get a spellcheck feature. I seem to get qa when i type a and the spacebar doesn't always leave a spacelol. Huggles. Ellie:D

lol, good going on the new keyboard. I know my brain works faster than my fingers. lol
I have not purchased anything that I can think of other than things I wanted. Oh, the usual...food, things for home, clothes for kids, etc.

Hi Jill, I am lucky these days as live in a soft water area but when I lived in Surey limesdcale was always a problem. Try using coca cola, if you ever have it and that is so vivious it will shine a penny and works as well as any expensive cleaners. Toothbrush hard work, toilet brush I agree a need rather than a want. Huggles. Ellie :D

Good on you for getting a new keyboard! I am fine when I use my laptop which is most of the time but when I sit at our desktop in the office and look down at the keyboard it’s when I remember that we too need a new one! The letters and numbers are wearing away, the feet underneath it are broken and it is getting sticky. We haven’t been able to afford one but we’ll get around to it soon I hope! The last thing I bought that made me wonder why I hadn’t done it sooner was when I purchased a hard case for my M3 player that I can wear around my neck with the player inside so that it cannot be dropped or banged against anything. It only cost five bucks and it was almost life changing! Enjoy your new keyboard!

right now, we cant afford a whole lot, but today i got some medicine which i would consider a must!

hi ellie. true true. when the brain functions faster than any limbs, you get the errors. i always experience this. i type fast, but my brain is faster. i always experience what they call "fat finger". always keying in the wrong letter. especially am not using the typical keyboard. it's quite tougher typing in laptops and notebooks.
i think i'll get myself a USB keyboard and a new mouse, as a treat to myself. ;-)
congrats on your new purchase. type away.

Recently I had to pay someone to fix my laptop because windows well crashed. But, other then that I haven't had to buy or pay for a product or service I absultly couldn't afford, but had to do without. Anoying as that sounds. My keyboard though for being about a year old seems to be in tip top shape. Though I'm glad you've got a new one.

Oh..i guess you keyboard has white colour . I have a black keyboard and it is around 5 years old . It is perfect . The letters are perfectly visible and they are not at all sticky . I think compaq has the best keyboard . My friends always complain about their keyboard . I don't know why I am not facing any problems with mine . And LOL even with a perfect keyboard , I make plenty of errors . I have not purchased any thing recently . I may get a new mouse LOL . It stops working in the middle and forces me to restart the computer .
