Why don't you ever see the headline 'Psychic Wins Lottery'?

are psychics banned from lotteries or something? i mean, if a psychic won one, it would really prove that they're clairvoyant and able to really see what others can't.. this is one headline that i would laugh if i see.. would you?

Based on what i heard from an actual psychic, they cant really predict numbers coz God didnt intend them to be instant millionaires, they were given that gift to help people, so they are pretty bad with lottery numbers but accurate on the past and present aspect of your life. I can attest to this coz i've spoken to 8 genuine psychics. Even if they dont see you, only on the phone, they can accurately tell stuff about you, all they need is just your full name and birthday.

Yup so true. They even decline an appointment if they see that you are getting too dependent on them in your daily life. Normally, a fake one would grab every chance to make more money right?

hiya dierdre i've met a couple of those kind of psychics too.. and after my experience with them, i do believe that a genuine psychic would never do things for the profit of it. from what i know, those who do it for the profit are seldom genuine psychics at all

in my opinion, you're absolutely right i tend to think sometimes that if it really is that easy to swindle someone by pretending to be a psychic, i might just try it out myself one day hehehe.... just kidding

Haha, that's a good one. I don't believe in psychics too.. maybe instincts, yes. Some people have really strong instincts that they can really feel something bad about to happen..but for a psychic clause to be put as in being banned, I would laugh the daylights off too! LOL..

hehe...reminds me of that joke.. 'why did a psychic fall into that hole?' because he's eyes are always looking so far away..' hehe... ok, a bit lame :p

LoL. this discussion is now 5 days old. but i think you're making a good point here, a hilarious one too. good sense of humor, nice one, i like it. hehe. Now I'm beginning to think psychics aren't really clairvoyant... :/

Haha good one.... nah I'm not convinced with the psychic guessing the lottery numbers, simply because it's live on tv, i don't know, for a fact it's harder to believe when it's on air...it could be all for publicity's sake. Or maybe I'm just being skeptical ... I'm not sure really if I believe it or not.

now i think i'm a psychic..because i had a feeling that a pretty lady would add a comment here 5 days after the discussion was started hehee.. and according to some of the responses i received in some of the other boxes above, apparently there was real psychic who did guess the winning numbers for a lottery..and live on tv! but i'm still not sure how real is that.. you can check it out from the links above and if they really can do that..wow, i'm impressed :)

yup...sometimes there are gullible people out there who assume that everything that's on tv is real. it's always best to be a little bit skeptical and not just simply believe every single thing on tv. unless it's the Prime Time news..but then, i'm also always skeptical about election results too!

Hm...good one there. I guess if that happens, the lottery company would probably call them cheating. and not pay them. Maybe if they buy a lottery, people would think less of them or their power. They are supposed to know it and if they don't win, that show they are not a very good psychic, to say the least.

well, this could be interesting if there is a headline news like that. but i think that there is a code ethic that they are not allowed to join in any lottery. but if i am a psychic, i will hide it and have some bet to win the lottery. who knows that my presume is right and i can bring home much money

Funny you mentioned bout this topic actually i was asking myself this question when i was still small. I often ask my dad or mom how come these so called psychics dont win the local lottery or any given chance game at all. Then i heard one broadcaster ask the same question to one of them before and the answer was a lil bit funny. He said he just dont want to exploit his talent lol as if they are not exploiting people whom seem to believe them. Good thing im not one of those people who believes lol

haha...there is always a way to answer while diverting from the actual question at the same time. so many of them seem to be 'experts' in that skill

Okay, now that you've brought that up: why don't we see them winning not only the lottery, but the biggest money at horse racing, dog racing, in Vegas? Anywhere there are odds? Nobody has ever asked me if I had credentials as a psychic when I was anywhere gambling so they must be allowed to.
• Malaysia

hmm...logically speaking, they should be allowed to gamble wherever non-psychic people gamble too..
