I find facebook is sometimes really slow

I agree. Mostly I find it slow on some of the games. Maybe because the games can be very involved with lots of graphics, but I find it very annoying at how slow it gets sometimes.

That could be seeing as it is a Friday evening, here in the States. I have noticed not only is it slow, but it has problems when I try to leave comments..

Sometimes its slow, I find that on alot of gaming sites its slow in the evenings, I think its because there are alot more people on the internet at night, so everybody's trying to do the same things at the same time.

That's also my problem so it's hard to view pictures or load them. Unlike in other sites where it's easier for me to view pictures.

I know what you mean, Facebook sometimes is very slow but there are times when i logged in it is just so quick, Sometimes its the facebook server thats being jammed by its million users worlwide, or its could be your internet provider that is giving you slow connections, you can check your internet speed www.speedtest.net so you will have an idea where the problem is originating.

This morningwhen i opened my pc, there were some add requests in my facebook accout, i added them, this was not slow loading at all, well it depends upon net speed too, on some days i find mylot also slow.. Thanks for sharing. Welcome always. Cheers. Prof

U do face the same problem as well?? haha All along i thought it might be just me, for my computer is really slow, and when it comes to facebook, it's even slower.. lol =D IT's much more obvious when i'm playing game in FB, whereby my dishes are often over-cooked, due to the loading time for the fb page.. lol =D

yes sometimes facebook gets really slow, well i guess because of the load of the people who are log in on that site. they can not handle the big volume yet so sometimes they have to upgrade. i am always at facebook for our son loves farmville. he loves to hear the sounds of the barn animals. i also chat with relatives and friends there.

i never encounter that. in mine, FB always fast. faster than my lot and easier to make any comments or status. sometimes being here in my lot makes me frustrated. i wish i could access my lot as easy as i access my FB

I cant agree with you more. I was just on facebook minutes ago and got frustarted with it so i got off. I was typing in peoples names to view their profiles to see waht they were up to gor the day and there profile pages werent coming up so i was checking to see if they recently wrote sometimes that was on their mind and if they didnt i couldn't even go onto their page at all. It does get frustrating at time, but i deal with it and i guess i just come onto mylot and start tping away to gain my extra cents every day. I am glad to know im not the only one that facebook is slow for. I find it complicated when you are probably in a rush because you do have so much to do and you jsut want to get on their maybe for a minute or two and have time to sit down and read some stuff but then this happens and you probably are correct there are a lot of people on there. Now with everyone out of work you would think it gets pretty packed.

Yes facebook tends to go slow from time to time and I hate it when it happens, specially if I'm commenting on something and it gets stuck Anyway there may be various reasons for this like the number of people online, the bandwidth and also the enhancements of the site itself. I'm always on mylot and sometimes it's also terribly slow for me but still I like it here more than facebook

I don't go on Facebook very often. The only time I do is when someone tells me they have pictures posted on it or something like that. When I do I do notice that it is slow. It probably is all the people on it at one time.

that is because our internet connection does not give us the same speed all the time... so that is why some times we feels that it is slow..

hi again.. same experience i have in facebook and maybe your right and i also notice that if one of your friend send you message in chat board you will notice that all the page you open will got hang..and it will take some times to be back. so i am not into facebook if i am doing something in my pc like working or browsing the net and if i want to see some of my friends in facebook i just open that site alone no other sites just to make sure that evrything will run ok.

In the past when I just signed up an account in Facebook, I also found this problem. This is why I was not very active in Facebook. But some time ago this website was blocked in my country, and I had to access it due to another website. This is inconvenient. I love China

hi there, yeah i think most of us do experience it with facebook. and its annoying specially when i am looking on my friend's pictures, sometimes it takes me a minute before loading the next picture...and also when it comes to games it loads so slow and will sometimes go out of synch! and just last night i can't even logged in to my account saying that its unavailable due to some site maintenance... maybe it really has something to do with the number of people using FB at the same time. i don't know but i hope it will be fixed and everything will be faster.

Hello my friend! how is your day?. I face that problem too is really slow. At first I think it was because my slow connection but seem many people face it. I think its their system because they have so many user who use it all day. I have friend who can stay in FB all day, I don't know how he enjoy it but he seem find his place there.

It might be, as someone has already suggested, that the connection sent by the provider is not always of the same speed. Therefore, the speed of the website might alternate. However, the fact that many people use facebook might also be a reason; maybe there is too much pressure on the website causing it to slow down at times.

Facebook has java based programs so it tend to be a little slow. Before, I used feel its slow effect. So,what I did I turned of images from the chat window and it significantly reduced lag/slowing down.

yes! Facebook seems to be getting slow these days. Slowness of your facebook account can be because of different factors, like your internet speed, number of users connecting to facebook server at the same time, your computer performance. But since you do not have trouble with other sites, i think it has to be the problem with the facebook server. Try not to log into facebook during peak times. That might solve your problems
