Which Mode of Travel You Like a Lot ??

Hi I like travel by all means for the advantages it offer. If i have to go on a hill station with full of greenery, water falls and natural beauty, i prefer travelling by road in a comfortable taxi.So that i can stop wherever i find interesting spot and enjoy natural beauty to the fullest. If i have to do overnight journey, I prefer to travel in train in ac sleeper class and enjoy nice sleep while travelling. Long day journeys I enjoy by train, as i enjoy seeing trees and building running away from us and the company of fellow passengers. The Air travel i prefer and enjoy for the speed it offers, and a journey longer than 12-13 hours by train, i will go by air. I have traveled a lot on ship, as part of my duty and watching surise and sunset from deck of the ship, while you are surrounded by blue water of the sea is must have experience. I enjoyed such experience for about 4 years.

Hi spped blitz: I prefer to travel by plane because I can sleep well while I'm traveling and just as you do, I love to travel by car when it's just about a short distance becuase this let me enjoy the beautiful spectacles of nature and also to see how the cities that I have to pass through look like. I love to travel by train most of all. I find it relaxing and enjoyable. I can happily travel on a train for days without finding it boring. Sometimes I get chatting to other passengers. I like to sit in the comfortable seat that has lots of legroom. I have slept on some train trip in a comfortable bunk. I have felt happy and wide awake the next morning. It is not always possible to travel by train so on a short journey I put up with going by bus or ferry. I travel by plane if it is a long haul journey but it is not a comfortable journey. The seats are cramped and there is little legroom. I find getting through the airport stressful with the extra security measures. I will be flying to Vancouver on a nine hour flight with my toddler son and baby daughter later this month.

I love air travel because I dont like to travel long hours. I like to arrive at my destination right away. I get so bored whenever I am traveling that's why I want to arrive as quick as possible. Though I want to ride in a plane I also like to try a cruise because I am just curious how it feels like being in a cruise ship.

I prefer car over everything else. Although, the only other mode of traveling that I have done is by plane. I'm just not a plane person. At least, if you are traveling by car, you can see different sites. It's not that way if your on a plane.

I have only traveled on a train by subway in New York, and the train in Boston, so I haven't gone a long distance, however I did like it. It seems so safe and open. You can move around, and the only time we were really crowded was when we were leaving the Bronx right after we went to see the New York Yankees play the Boston Red Sox. Otherwise, it seemed like a really nice way to travel. I have seen on the news where they are working on building a big rail project in the Midwest. I think it will run from Chicago to Detroit. I think this will be a great way to travel, plus it will help to save the environment. I have flown, and I enjoy it as well. Mainly because you get there so fast. I also really like to drive. I have driven from California to Kentucky, that was really a unique experience. Perhaps one that only truck drivers get to experience on a regular basis. I didn't care too much for the cruise ship, but it was mainly because I couldn't just get off and on whenever I wanted. I guess I felt kind of trapped, although there were a few things to do on the cruise. However, I do enjoy riding smaller boats quite a bit.

For a short trip, I love to travel by bus. But it has got to be the spacious 20-seater bus. I pay a little more but I get to travel much more comfortably. It is like travelling on the airplane. There is arm and leg rest, lots of room in front of you. I don't mind travelling my air. If it is long haul, I guess, you have no choice. It is just that you can't move around that much. But I love the scenery from above. I love to watch the sunrise or sunset on the plane, watch the clouds as we bump into them, love to travel above the clouds. It's a nice feeling. I don't travel much on the train for vacation. There is not much opportunity for that at our location. And the trains are pretty old and dirty here. So I'd rather travel by bus. I have not been on a cruise, but I have taken ferries of all sorts for short travels. I love the sea breeze, sun in my face and the feeling of traveling on wide open sea. I love to watch the open expanse before me.

I like cars because you can stop and see other things on the way to wherever you are going...but Ive never been on a train. I like flying because it gets you there faster and when you are going somewhere really exciting you just wanna get there! (Like my friends and I planning our first Disney World trip!) I just got off my second cruise ship - I like boat but I have to say that there wasn't a lot of activities on the ships like there used to be...

My favorite mode of travel would have to be the plane because you get there so much faster. I have never traveled on a vacation trip by train which I would love to do one day, just for the experience. On short trips I just love to pack the car with luggage and food and travel that way.

I prefer to travel by car with friends and family when it's a long trip. Road trip is so fun specially when we do it for like days. I love the stop overs. It's so fun. We usually stop on every towns and cities we cross and spend over night there then travel again. It's so tiring but what an experience. However, if I have to travel because of some important event then I prefer to travel by plane. It's faster. I've already tried traveling by ship. It's nice specially when you love ocean. It's also fun when you travel on ship with friends and family. It has all the amenities you will need. There's a bar, dining room, movie room, suites, etc.

It depends on the time I have and what I need to do. I like Air travel because of the time it saved. I enjoy Train travel if I have the time and I am travelling with friends. When I was a college student, I love train travel. You can enjoy the scenery, and have a fun time, especially if you are in a big group. I haven't had a chance to travel by train recently. The travels that I do and need to do are usually too far to go by train and that there are time constraints and other factors making me travel by Air or Car. I only do car journey to a nearby cities. I don't like it very much as you can't move around and I sometimes get car sick. I only travel by car if the distance is 6 hours or less.

Yes, traveling by land is also my preference. I enjoy sight-seeing, taking pictures of sceneries and the locals of that particular place. Also, I can stop by at whatever and whenever I want to. Well, except when I'm just commuting.:) I've been used to air travel also, but it's too expensive and doesn't have the same excitement of traveling by land. As for sea, I have been living a life of almost a year at sea for two consecutive years now. That's the reason why I enjoy land, I miss it so much!:)

i love traveling in train because its adventurous and fun. when you are with family and friends you love spending time with them and you select means which are slow and adventurous. if i am alone i prefer faster modes. but with family and friends trains or car is a good choice.

If I have specific destination to go to I will drive mainly because my wife is disabled and any other means is a hassle. Going through the torments of today's airport security and the over crowded unpleasant nature of stuffed airliners you can keep it. If you have no specific destination and want to relax I have found a Cruise Ship is the absolute best value for your dollar. There are ships that cater to families and ships that are for adults so you have a wide range to choose from. US train travel takes some getting used to. It is noisy and not always the most pleasent but the views can be spectacular.

I'm really not picky when it comes to choosing the means to travel. I just love traveling. But if I have to choose one then I'll choose train. Not the train here in our country where it is always full of people and most of the time not really comfortable but the fastest means to travel. But the trains in other countries where it looks very comfy, with different rooms (kinda like Hogwart's express ) and with a cool dining area. Sounds luxurious but one of my dreams is to travel with that kind of train someday. Plane is cool too but the only sight we can see while flying are is the cloud. Sight-seeing is the best part for me when it comes to traveling.

When it comes to traveling, I've always wanted to travel using private car. That way, I can pretty much go everywhere I want to go without even thinking of the need to catch a train or catch a bus. Although it can be tiring at some point especially when traveling for more than 3 hours, it's still worth it.

airfare is too expensive here in the philippines. i only got a chance to travel by plane only if there are some promos. when traveling in a long distance, i prefer to travel by air to save time. second, by land. the advantage of this is that you can stop to any place you prefer which are not actually out of your way going to your destination.
