There are many new clothes in my wardrobe that I have never wore.I can say I did like them when I bought them in the shop or supermarket, but when I got home I would find they are a little tight or loose,or the color is too dark or bright,or there is no clothes to match, etc.Besides the clothes,I have bought a steam iron,a pair of roller-skates and a famous brand sports shoes which I have never used or wore. Also there are still other little ones.I am not the one who wastes and I am against waste very much, but why does this kind of waste happens?Do you have the same bad habit? If you have any advice, please tell me.Thank you very much.

I have bought many things till now and surely nothing went waste. But yea I bought many things as well which I didn't use before but that didn't go waste too. I mean I everytime try out new kinds of facewash, and that didn't go waste because it is something which won't go waste. I really appreciate that you are against the wastage of anything, it's really good. But you shouldn't worry about this habit of yours because it is a habit which you can get rid of soon. If you are planning to buy any new clothes, so you should first try it out and if you don't want to try it, so you can measure it to check that whether it fts you perfectly or not. And other things like steam iron and all, so ofcourse steam iron won't go waste and other things, you should first think that whether in future you will use it or you'll use it now for time being and then throw it away. Happy mylotting!

Oh no!I don't buy anything that I will not use.A good advice for you is not to go shopping unless you need something badly. Then only buying holds meaning and you will use those things without fail and there will be nothing waste anymore. So,"do shopping when you really need it".

You speak to the point.I like go shopping and most of the time I go there for nothing and just stroll around and buy something unneeded home. Thanks for your good advice,I will go shopping later today and this time I wont take much money,so I would not buy too many things.

That is a wise decision that you accept my point of view on shopping. When you just go for shopping to know whatever new things had hit the market, then you may be tempted to buy some extravagant things too.Having a list of things to buy and taking the required money alone will solve this problem.

hi ann,you have the same name as me,sometimes,
yes,i am like you too,my friend! these things really happen to me. specially when i shop by myself,or even with my siblings. it's just the way it is. sometimes i do love the type of clothes i'm buying and i fit it before buying but when i went home,i suddenly can't see myself wearing the clothes i bought. well, in this cases most of the time,my siblings are there to wear the ones i don't usually wear. at least it didn't get wasted.but at times also there were those clothes i didn't fit before buying then i thought it fits me,but it doesn't.so no one can wear it anymore in the house cause i'm the thinnest of them all.all my siblings are fatter than me.in this cases i have to sell them to friends nearby or neighbors who are close to us. but it seldom happens, most of the times it will all be donated in charities or victims of calamities. which is i think waste for me,cause i didn't get benefit for what i bought but i also think it would be such a great help to others also, right?
that's why next time you go for shopping, make sure that you really have to wear the clothes you're buying for yourself. waste of effort and money occurs if the clothes you bought doesn't fit you or you just don't like to wear at all.

hello ann, actually that's my sister's nickname! only with letter "e" at the end.
well, most filipinos have the same name,my friend!
that was really a common name here, that's why some of ann"s would always want to change their names.
well, at least you can still wear that trouser my friend, not a waste i can say!
you might have relatives who can share your clothes with,is there?
if you're in the philippines, that's nothing to worry about cause there are lots of people here who are in need of clothes. you must be lucky to have something someone don't have. learn to share,my friend!

I have got lots of stuff in my wardrobe that I never wear. Most of them are not purchased by me. It has been given to me and I cannot NOT accept them. So, they are lying at the bottom of the drawer or something like that. Some I have given them away, some I keep them. The ones that I have purchased that I never wore are those that are bought on sale. Like you can't try them on while buying, so I bought some things that I like that I thought would fit me, but when I try them on at home, they are not quite right. I usually give those away.
The thought of selling them online has crossed my mind, but I just don't have the time to take pictures and list it online and then having to post them for a small amount...it's not worth it to me. If I have some really good branded things that are never worn; and sure to fetch me a bit of money, well, that's a different story.

I have bought new clothes in pregnancy too and I put on weight about 20kg at that time,so it took me a long time to lose them. But to wear them again is so happy.
You mentioned shoes,I bought a pair of shoes last weekend in the morning and it fitted very well at that time, but every time I wore them in the afternoon it will becomme a little-just a little tight. It's said that our feet will expand due to a whole days exercise and it will become bigger in the afternoon. So maybe you have bought shoes in the morning too!just like me:)

That's happened to me so many times too! I've mostly bought clothes that I haven't worn, either because they were on sale or because they looked pretty decent when I was in the store but they looked a lot different when I tried them on at home. I've also bought make-up and beauty products that I haven't used because they didn't have the effect I wanted or they smelled weird, lol! I've tried to sell some of my clothes and shoes online, but there's a pretty small market for that kind of stuff where I live, and not many people seem to want to buy things online. If that doesn't work, I usually donate the clothes to charity.
I've been trying to get this impulse under control for a while and it seems like it's worked so far, cuz I haven't bought anything wasteful in a long time. I think it's all about controlling the impulse and making sure you really want something before you buy them. Also, you could try going out with a really restricted budget, so that the temptation to buy is reduced.

Well i bought hell lot of stuff that i never used not even touched. My wardrobe is full of jeans and shirts which i hardly ever feel like wearing. It happens when we see something at a store,it kind of attracts us,but after that it starts to feel crappy.I generally give that stuff to someone else.

If the clothes are too tight or small, I'll just give them to my family. There's always someone that can wear it. But I did bought a blouse once, then I accidentally burnt one of the sleeves using steam iron. I haven't even wear it yet! I can take it to a tailor to fix it by cutting the sleeves a little but somehow I don't feel like doing it. So it has become a redundant in my wardrobe.

I think we all have aa thing or two in our closets that we don't use. Some may even still have the price tags on them. I know that I have a few articles hanging in my closet that i bought but for some reason or another, I have never worn them. Sounds like I should decide whether they are worth keeping or if I should givee them away.

Every time when I decide to give them away I would hesitate and think that maybe I will change my mind or become more slim&fatter and wear them some days. And if I give them to my friends, will they like them or just accept and don't like to refuse? You know, every woman is fastidious in clothes, that is why there are more clothes in our closet than the man's,so giving them away are not easy sometimes.

You just reminded me of this shirt that i bought 2 years ago, i dont know i just bought it but for some weird reason up until now im not yet using it at all. Funny but i tend to do that alot lately its like i want to buy something but the thing i dont even want to use this item that i want to buy. Pretty weird huh dont worry thats what im feeling as well. Its more like a waste of money to buy something that you will never use at all. I just wish i will be saving the money instead of buying something that i wont be using at all lol

It's just a waste of money every time I see the price tag on these clothse.Yesterday I was cleaning my room and saw some of little things in the drawer bought from net, there are egg white separator,a frame to put cellphone when charged,a cover rack,a luminous ear scoop.I have thought they are useful when I saw them online, but when I received them I found the material are not very good and not like the picture online. Now I rarely buy things from the net only if the goods which I cannot find in the supermaket.I always remaind me that seeing is believing.

This rarely happens to me. Well it happened more often when I was still studying and just relying on my parents' allowance, but since I started working I realized how difficult it is to earn money and I don't want a single cent wasted. If ever it really is unavoidable and I can't use something that I buy, I keep it safe and untouched and give it out as a gift during birthdays and christmas.

I am the direct opposite.I had a little money left after have paid the tuition at school,so I had to save each cent and sometimes did part-time jobs. Then since I started working I can get a more or less salary each month and my parents also tell me that you can buy what you want as you have been so hard in the university. So,you know the result.
