what is the benefit of beeing good people?

I think being a good and helpful person and caring about your safety at the same time is completely OK. For instance, I am helping people on streets always, when I feel safe, and don't stop for any type of requests from strangers, when I do not. I was being used for my goodness for quite a several times (no criminal intentions, luckily), but that occasions didn't stopped me from helping people. There are lots of decent lads around and they don't have to suffer because of bunch of idiots.

Oh that is so sad...but dont worry God knows what to give you for something you lose,believe me it'll be more than what you expect.I still believe that being a good people will make you proud of yourself,why?because you know yourself that your good and didnt hurt someone.Remember if you lose something that you worked hard for then it'll be back 10x better than what u should have.And believe in karma,that people might still living now but their souls are already in hell,hehe.You'll be ok..

Thought to ponder: stay good even if others are not!

I have been cheated. I have been robbed with a knife on my neck that eventually slashed my hands and fingers. You can choose to 'fight' them or to 'fight with them'. Between being a bad guy and a good guy I choose to be a cautious guy. And it has paid.

It is always good to be good, now the thing is other people tend to exploit our kindness with deceit and other bad stuff but i think we should never stop being good. God blesses those who are kind to others who help others even if most of the times we are being treated bad.Lets be realistic in this world there are alot of bad people , and if we stop being good just because there are alot of bad people then there wont be any good men or women around to make this world a better place to live anymore . I salute you for being good sir, and im hoping that you continue to be good as far as you can. Together lets make this world a better place to live.

A man with good soul purified by passing space is like a spring shower or during a drought, clearing up the life of others without knowing it illuminates not do anything. Around the time is otherwise a good man, the day is brighter and deeper mystery night, the space becomes unusual size, giving the freedom and zest for life. Around a good man is breathing easier, to think more deeply, more intensely loves. In anticipation of a good man, anyone, no matter how bad, can definitely get better. People are everywhere, you just have to learn to discover. A good man is not necessarily famous. Often goes unknown among us, but it is he who refreshes and nourishes us all keep alive the good of the soul. We could say good about the man that is "oxygen" of conscience and goodness hidden in each soul. Therefore, the more we surround more than good people, the atmosphere around us is more pure goodness which perhaps lies hidden in each of us will break out on the surface like a mountain spring burn after melting snow.

i know perfectly what you mean... good people tend to be used and manipulated by other people... i am very sorry to hear about your incident... it is very upsetting that when we are trying to be a good samaritans and we get the bad consequences because of that... but please do not stop being a good person and doing good deeds because i believe our God is a fair God and He is watching our every move... you will get what you deserve for from doing good deeds someday... take care and have a nice day...

How scary! It's very sad to think that they prey on good people like this. And it's especially unfortunate that you hadn't had the phone for very long.

i always believe that you've encountered this situation because God knows that you can handle it well..it will not be given to you if you can't handle it..there's always a reason..don't question the benefits of being a good person..stay kind and pleasant to everyone even if they do you wrong..always remember..kindness begets kindness..stay good..forgive those who wronged you..miraculously they will feel your forgiveness and it will change their hearts and will not do what they did to you to others..

it is your decision what you whant to be ther are 2 major spiritual things in the univers the bad and the good its your decision what you whant to be the bad or the good what ever makes you more happy to do you should do it, about the cell phone that has ben stolend you can alwais use revange on them if you ever se them again just be clever ;)

it's important to keep everything in perspective really. the good you do here in earth is never overlooked. i'm a Christian so there may be some who wouldn't agree with my sentiments regarding this matter but what's more important is that you did the decent thing and it's just a material thing, you can replace it with something even better someday. i always feel more regretful about not doing the right thing when the situation called for it. those people who took your phone will always suffer the consequences of their actions, whether they admit it or not, they'll always have guilt and fear haunting them.

It's very sad to know your mobile phone was stolen but according to me there are many advantage of people because everyone said this person is very good he never makes any crime but i think good people make easily crime no one can easily find them and this is the big advantage of good people to do crime.

the problem is not with being a good person..the problem is with being simple minded. you should hope and pray for discernment, so you can see the different in people's. dont just look at the appearance of a person, but pay strict detail to their movements, and voice, how their eyes wander, and the tone in their voice. the way a person walks can give a lot about them away too. to be nice is the best way to be hands down..but when you deal with evil people...niceness will make you a target. consider...there are many predators in the animal kingdom....but there are predators among men too. and predators usually go after the weaker looking, or simplest. so make yourself strong so you can be on your guard against everyone. prepare for the evil in people, but encourage and hope for the good in them. in this way, you will better be able to handle such situations if it ever happens to you again.

Well... if you are a good person, everybody will have a better look of the other people. You had a bad experience but you can think that you are a good person and that they will go to hell and you will be seeing them from heaven.

In my eyes it is very simple: Our mission in this world is to improve our souls, mainly by suffering. You lost your phone, so you suffered and improved your soul. This is a short cut for your eternal life to show you, that the materialistic approach to try to own worldly things (and pets and even friends and relatives) is the wrong way to fulfill this mission. Poor guys these robbers are: they are still on the hunt for matter and their hearts are full of greed, whereas YOU already are on the spiritually higher level of asking, why this happened and what it might be good for.

I am so sorry to hear that.. being a good person is obviously good... many benefit from this ... but just please remember, being good doesnt mean weak

I'm sorry about what happened to you, but at least you do good on them. They were the ones who do bad. Continue on doing good because God is watching us. Let others do bad but not you. Just take care and always pray and ask for His guidance.
