It is never a good thing to sleep late during the night and I think everybody knows that already. But to work with the computer and try to make somemoney out of it,I did sleep really late when I first started. But after one year,i found my health was turning worse especially the heart beat was getting irregular and always felt sleppy during the daytime. So I stop this sleeping late habit and try to sleep earier. Then my heart get back to normal a bit and I will be careful with this online business again.Above all health is more important than anything else. What about your experience?Share with us.

Well,it is a good news for you if your health is tsill doing ok but keep on sleeping late.I used to do that but that was long long time ago and I think when we were young ,we just lov eto stay up late all night. But after many years and I am getting old now.I can't afford to sleep late any longer after I feel my heart beat is just not right anymore and my lever is not doing ok,so I am doing my best to sleep earlier .It really help my health and the heart beat goes back to normal a bit and I have more energy during the day time.I wish everybody can have a good sleep and stick with a proper schedule. It is good for health and the medical doctor will all recommend it.I understand that stay up late once awhile is fun and enjoyable experience but doing it all the time or every night? No thanks.Well , I hope that you can have a better sleep all the time, have a good day.Oops ,it is my time to sleep now and I ma looking for a sweet dream tonight.Bye.

I have been sleeping late nights for almost 7 yrs now or may be more as far as i remember. I really don't know how badly has it affected my health. I have gained extra kilos but that may be the contribution of Non veg I ate or less workout and more sitting job. Its now become a daily schedule to sleep late. Even if I try to go to bed early, i can't get asleep. I need to exhaust my brain by watching movies & stuff so that i can get a sound sleep. By the way your discussion has really put me in a thought and I really need to get a Heart checkup as soon as possible.

I feel we have complicated our lives more with various gadgets like TV,Computer,Video Games etc. As you rightly said about exhausting the brain so that we can get sound sleep.I see more simple people get sound and instantenous sleep lying in bed.People who think a lot about all things then get into habit of sleeping late.

I come from the school of belief that if we are able to get the right amount of sleep in the duration of a day then it doesn't really matter which hours we choose to sleep. I was a graveyard shift employee when I worked at the hospital when my daughter was little and the result of that was that I had a swing shift sleep schedule, I did this for sixteen months and it didn't have any adverse effect on my health. Even now I'm not able to have a traditional sleep schedule, but I am still healthy.

I always sleep late. I normally sleep at around 12 midnight and my health is okay as long as I get to sleep longer the following day. Its enough for me to get a sleep for only 7 hours and then take a nap in the afternoon but if its going to be lesser than those number of hours, that's the time my health is affected.

I have read that your body makes healing enzymes between the hours of 10 pm and 2 am. But, this will only happen if you are asleep. So, if you do not sleep during these yours, your body will not heal from all the small, and sometimes large, things that have happened to it during the day. You will feel bad and your health will decline. I also go to bed late and sleep late and I don't feel as well as I did when I went to bed around 9 or 10 and got up by 8 am.

It is true, sleeping is one of the best way to take care of our health.
Enough and proper time sleeping is a must to have a healthy mind and body.
I admit,i am not caring about these thing.
But,since then,i am already a late sleeper, and thu i want to changed this habit, still,i can't sleep earlier before my bedtime habit.
So,what to do then, can't avoid staying late in front of computer for time pass.
Good thing is,it is not affecting too much of my health.
I am drinking some food supplement to support my immune system.
The only problem is my eye sight,it is getting worst nowadays.

I sleep late on every Friday, Sat & Sun and this seems to be ongoing with me. I tried to come out of this but everytime failed. Every friday I feel like ok, I willl have day off tomorrow so let's watch movies or do something else and sleep till 11-12 next day. This continues on sat night as well. On Sunday night I feel like, oh its monday tomorrow so better sleep on time.
It has become a tendency to sleep late on weekends.
I know this is bad for health but cannot get out of it. Hope to come out of it soon.
Thank sfor this reminder.

I don't think it's when you go to sleep but how many hours you get. I normally get about six hours a night. And I went to bed around 3 this morning, woke up around 8 and lay down for a while. Now I'm tired and have to go shopping. I try to rest on Sunday but I'm always on the Internet. So yes, I sleep late (midnight on the average except for Saturday nights) and I get up early (mostly 6 am), so that must be effecting my health in some way. I really need eight hours sleep.

To tell the tuth I have no choice because my hubby comes home only around 11 and after having our dinner we watch the television and off to sleep not before 2 or 3 in the night.
Medically it's okay if you have a quality sleep time. But generally if you sleep really late say around 3p.m or 4p.m, naturally your sleep time will be 3 - 10. There might be a huge chance for your sleep to get interrupted.
It is very bad to have food late night. So if you are taking your dinner at 10p.m then there will be a gap of 13 hrs. to your next food (considering that you are having food 1 hr after you wake up). Which is very unhealthy.
Few research says that morning sleep is better than late night sleep, though both of it reduce the efficiency of a person in compare to normal sleep time. But still these research results to be established.
