Anyone heard about Reiki??

Recently I heard about reiki from my uncle.He is pursuing reiki practices.He is saying it has immense power and it makes a calmness to our mind.He also says that it will improve our concentration.Is this true?
Anybody heard about this?
And anybody got the effect from it?

I have heard about it somewhere. Its a type of treatment where the doctor doesnt even touch the body. They utilizes the positive energy surrounding us. They say that these energy can be transmitted from one place to another and can treat a person in different place also.
Iam waiting for more details about it
